Brush your scruffy mummy loving Canuck teeth. I am DAPPER!

And no I am not the chubby Greek in the background, thats (another) Zorba.

I just wanted to give you the opportunity to 'dapperfy' these boards again ;)

My wife absolutely loves Franco Zeffirelli's 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet, we have collected bit and pieces of movie paper over time  - fortunately most of the rest of us are heathens (me) so it generally is pretty cheap to pick up this stuff). Anyway some of it has finally hit the walls.

This is our entrance/lobby and on the walls to the right is 9 movie stills (we have more) from the movie - FYI, on the floor is a mirror set in concrete with the opening lines from Act II (I think) written on it. Sitting beside the chess pieces (lying flat, you can't really see it) is a Pressbook and then to tie it all in, on the left is a framed 1915 Paramount Picture poster, Paramount being the distributor for the movie...

My wife somewhat tongue in cheek suggested that at the top of the stairs could be 'the balcony' from the movie...I told her not to be silly  :)

Anyway, wife is happy ergo husband is happy...

I've posted this next one before but now it kind of makes sense.

Love to see framed movie posters in apartements :)
I wish I had more walls.
I think some (mostly) German art is needed in this nice thread here:

Bardot and Monroe down?
No offense Mike, but if these aren't still hanging on your walls, you need to have your head examined.
They are too gorgeous for words.
PM me and I will take 'em off your hands.
 cheers

Oh no, they are still up :)
But BB hangs in the rest room, no space for making decent pictures :)
And the SHOWGIRL (by Hans Otto Wendt, my favorite artist. He also painted
the two JAMES DEAN I hung up) hangs in the hallway, quite dark there and
not much room either..
