Makes sense.

In a rush to get down stairs, frames could get knocked off the walls and cause people to trip or even get cut from broken frame glass.. things like that.

Right, and blocking the path in such a narrow space.  Also, combustibles in a stairwell would be a powerful incendiary.  If a door to the stairwell opens in a fire, the stairwell acts as a chimney, which could trap people on the upper floors.

A mural or something like that would be best in such a space.  I know someone who has a rad mural going up a similar style stairwell.  I'll snap a photo of it sometime.

I for one would like to see photos of the mural. I am working on a mural right now for my daughter!

Right on.  Sounds like you are a super dad.

I'll post some photos here sometime soon.  It would be great to see your work, also.

I'm sure this will look absolutely awesome when it's done, Chris.

I like the painting on the left.  This is exactly what I like to see hanging at people's houses.  What is it?

Well that was a delightful stairwell before the fire department intervened. Surely Neo they must accept the notion that sacrificing a few lives for art isn't necessarily a bad thing?

Good eye, T.  That one is really nice.  I don't recall seeing a name on it, but it has a unique style, and appears to be fairly old (100 years or so if I had to guess).  I'll ask the owners about it the next time I see them.

T,  It looks like a Barbizon-school style painting, to me.

What does it look like, to you?

Interesting you should say that Jeff.  I first thought of a Daubigny look alike, but it's hard to tell from the angle.  I don't think it's anything amazing, but it looks nice.

You gonna incorporate Mr. Stay-Puft into her mural?

Thanks guys, I will share them when I am done. Planning on about 2 weeks. But we shall see.

Ted haha, not this time. She has an underwater theme in her bedroom. She wanted Little Mermaid and Nemo, however I am not going to "brand" the mural. Rather paint it in a "Disney" style. Realistic background with cartoon charachters.  I started on it officially a few days ago. I have been waiting a 27x40 frame to arrive from spotlight. I got it yesterday! I have drawn out a section about 4 foot x 3 foot so far.. updates and perhaps teasers to come in the next few days!

The pastoral scene, the cottage, and what looks like a young girl maybe herding some of her flock, made me think this style, T.

Haven't been excited about a new poster in quite some times, but I really like this one a lot, so Rear Window is out.
