Looks maybe to be the Daybill rereleased in '49? Heritage has a pic of one that looks similar. Either way, it's amazing. One of my favorite Daybills ever
Was a daybill made for the original release? I looked on imdb but they dont have a release year listed for Australia.
I imagine it would have been released in Australia. After all Frankenstein and Dracula originally were (only to be banned later on). It would be a long daybill (15x40 or so vs. 13x30) however and I bet, since daybills quite often copied three sheet artwork, it might even be the same. That said I have no knowledge of one still existing.
