Verrrrry nice, Chris.
Love the mattes on those puny daybills.
Kinda makes them look like real posters ;)

A Thierry hates "French Grande" that has been buried far too long in my collection! Not quite as cool as the Italian, but an order of magnitude cheaper...

Thank you. It is a pictorial map. It's been the only poster I have hanged in my office for many many years.

Wow, I never thought this day would come.

As some of you may know, I was given the hallway to put up a few posters, including this French Rope, which has been up for a year now.

It will soon be replaced either by this Italian North by Northwest or another Italian of Mademoiselle Striptease, two recent acquisitions.

Last night however my wife, who's been redoing her office, asked me to find her one for that wall above her desk (!!!).  It had to be light blue and green, to go with the color scheme.  We went through my website and she chose this one...

So soon enough I will have a new poster up on the walls.  That's for all of you who think posters are meant to be displayed.

Whatever.

All 4 are beautiful, T. Picking which to display would be very difficult!

I actually do not know.  Same guy did the 2s (above) and 4s (below).  If anyone knows, I'd love to know.

Thanks Teddy.  I don't know about the best you've seen, but let's say a work in progress.  I go from one obsession to the next, and I'm a completist, so I will eventually get them all.  There are actually 4 or 5 new Bardot pieces I need to add to the collection (including the one above), but I haven't had time to update my website.

I definitely think Bardot should be on that wall (or more appropriately in your Gentleman's Smoking Room).  Let the wife have Connery...

Very nice to see you coming over to the light side

That's because you see it in a frame.  I'm tired of it, though.

Since I'm at it, another development is that my father-in-law is in the process of building a six-sheet frame for my office, pretty much in the same design than the one Rope is in.  I want to be able to open it and change posters.  At the moment, the likely candidate is this Star Wars 6-sheet I bought a month ago.  Nothing that extraordinary, but it's in absolute mint condition so I might have it linenbacked when I get the frame.  That's if I put it up.  I wouldn't know how to make it stick otherwise.  Or buy another six-sheet if I see something pleasing, but I think SW would look good in a frame.

Yes, I'm a gigantic nerd at heart.

Oh, and thanks for the socks seal-of-approval, Paul.  Yes, they are nice and I cherish them.

Six sheet frame...that will be impressive when housing the poster!
T, that French Rope looks magnificent!
Best wishes,

You guys seem to like Rope.

Here's one from Intemporel.  I saw it last week while in Paris, Choko had it linenbacked and it is in great condition.  I would have bought it if I didn't already own it.  The price isn't bad either.

You may have grown used to it T, with it being up so long, but it's a jollyfine poster, wish I had the extra funds, that would be sold now..
