alright so it's going up soon, but not up yet.

bought a group of 19 spanish heralds of my favorite older movies on ebay.  For me, the full sized posters would be all out of my price range, but these are perfect for what I'd had in mind.

I've kept most of my movie ticket stubs, and had been planning to frame them as a collage, and put them under glass on a c.offee or end table in a TV room, but after finding the heralds for sale I thought it'd be more interesting to combine the two.

here's a rough layout cell phone pic:

I love  the idea and is something I had in mind too. You have a really nice selection, and good that you are keeping the cinema tickets, it looks great!!

I used to have a box full of old stubs and tossed them because I thought I was weird and no one should keep such things.
I was thinking of putting them in the frame with the poster. Oh well...

Very cool collage.
Witty signature goes here.

Just arrived back from the cleaners (Dario), and although they have yet to be framed they are destined for the walls. My wife likes these ones (first two) so much she wants to decide on the frame (yes dear), however I think I have found a nice spot for each once they are framed (they have been pinned to the wall on the linen for the time being)

My study.

A spare room - aka where fav framed posters go to be hung

This one came in from Dario (a surpise), nice colours, it's from the late 50s, actually it was used as a teaching aid for arithmetic (each item has a currency value so one can add them up etc) - quite cute, not sure if the wife will like it there, we'll see what she thinks when she gets home...

Bravisimo, Dave!

Boootyful!

I love the fact that you can pin my Linen backings with easy. I tweaked the "Paper down" on linen process to get a pretty nice and soft roll. I still use the same Linen and paper that most Linen backers use, but I got the secret tweak!

Waaait a minute! If you you move the Vegetable up a bit, you get a spot for Bella's UK educational Candy jar poster.

It should be a crime do die with a single poster in your collection,
dario.

Finally changed out a couple frames for spring if it ever gets here.

Apocalypse Now gets the wall. On the floor is what is on deck for frames tomorrow. Finally going to frame a rolled version of Excalibur.

On the love seat are rolled posters that I don't have storage room for at the moment. May have to go back in their tubes. It is getting out of hand. Must stop!  :P 8)
