RIP Philip Castle

It's been a tough year for poster artists. We've lost another of the greats, sadly -- Philip Castle, one of the pioneers of airbrush art and best known here for his work with Stanley Kubrick, passed away a few days ago.

Even if you don't know his name you will instantly recognise his iconic posters for A Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket.

Aside from the two Kubrick posters, his movie poster work included sheets for Mars Attacks, Valley Obscured by Clouds, Final Programme, Ganster Number One, and Flash Gordon.
