You almost surely know that the great Mondo company was sold to the Funko company in July of 2022 (after Alamo had so many problems from shutdowns due to coronavirus). It did not seem like Funko knew what to do with Mondo, and less than a year later they stopped the print end of it, and fired the employees in charge of them.

NOW, JUST 10 MONTHS LATER, MONDO HAS RISEN FROM THE ASHES! All of the people who founded Mondo (with one exception) have joined forces with Tim League and SpectreVIsion to create a new company, "Mutant"!

The closing of Mondo last year had a somewhat depressing effect on the prices of classic Mondo prints, but it seems certain to me that the new MUTANT prints will massively revitalize the vintage Mondo market.
