We'll see. Mondo had not been good for a long time before calling it quits, so I'm not holding my breath yet. Like jpiken said, the only person with taste was Justin Ishmael, and it all went down with his departure.

The old Mondo thread.

I like prints, but I need to move a bunch to storage to make room for new arrivals, so I went through an entire drawer of Mondos (one out of 8 I have to go through).

I was texting the pictures to a friend of mine and figured why not share some on here too.

A trip down memory lane to when Mondo was great. Isn't the last one in the wrong drawer though? I remember buying that directly from Akiko - there was only an edition of 10 I recall. A fantastic print.

Yes, but it is a large one so it was at the bottom of this specific pile I unearthed, along with Durieux' Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, Struzan's First Blood and a bunch of larger Star Wars.

And you are correct, I have #4/10. It's a beautiful print for sure.

I'm going to try to go through another pile today.

The days when a print was $50 and not $200+. I am thinking of dropping out. I know they can still produce the prints cheaper than offered as the galleries will still do sub $70 prints, so the commissioners have gotten greedy on their take.

I think these were the first 2 I bought and they were around $20. Then the 2006 Rolling Roadshow stuff with Jaws and Bueller and others. All cheap!

Most of those prints cost $40-$50 back then. I'm sure they would sell for $150-200 today.
