Raiders 1p “grande” authentication

(1/2) > >>

Thekees:
Hi, apologies if I’m doing this all wrong, still aquatinting myself with this site. I recently posted my Raiders 1p on Facebook, and got a message from from a respected member of this forum about its authenticity, while i trust his judgment, other people i respect in this space have also said it’s genuine, even found one example on emovieposters, but only one in a sea of what would be considered genuine. Wondering on anyone else's opinions or if there are any experts that can give any guidance. Also if any experts wouldn’t mind taking a look at this Temple door panel. Thank you

wonka:
Those are both legit.

eatbrie:
Wasn't aware of this thread until Ben posted.

No, not legit.  Both of them.

Like I said before, the large French Raiders is an obvious Sonis reprint.  It clearly state SA Lalande, which did not exist until 1983.  The correct printer for 1981 is SE Lalande.

Same with the Pantalon, which should not have the Sonis logo.

wonka:
So are they 'reissues' rather than 'reprints'?

eatbrie:
Sonis reprints, both.  Neither Raiders nor Temple of Doom were ever re-released.  Then you have another Cine Poster reprint floating around too.  HA has sold it many times as an original.
