Wrinkles

I've just hung an Original D/S Charlie St. Cloud poster( Thanks Dale!)
After it was put in the frame and hung on the wall I noticed several
small "wrinkles" with the exception of 1 they are all less than an inch in length
and don't seem very ingrained in the poster (Not the end of the world I know
but now I've noticed them they'll annoy me) I didn't notice them before I put it in the frame so it most likely happened during the framing. Essentially I wanted to know from people who
have experience if there is a way to "unwrinkle" the wrinkles? - Is
there a chance they will simply go away on their own? Will they devalue
the poster in the long run? Etc

Any hints/help would be appreciated.  ;D

In my experience wrinkles develop because (1) the poster is larger than the frame (even by 1/4 inch) or (2) the poster is being excessively compressed by the metal "springs" in the back. So I usually don't use the metal springs and just hang the posters inside the frame with a small piece of acid-free tape.

I've also noticed that posters will wrinkle in flip frames if the plexiglass is thin.

The wrinkles are almost always permanent, so it's best to take out the poster when you notice wrinkles are developing.
