Will Williams (1922 -2015)

Born Willi Haseneier in Bochum Germany, Will lived a quite adventurous life. Among other things he painted (anti-) Nazi "Wanted" posters after the war in Italy and even became John Ford's personal illustrator in the 1960s! As far as I know he moved to California in 1959 hence all his (German movie) posters date back to the 1950s. Check his website:

I was so happy when I bought a very special Williams poster a few weeks ago for one of my Top 15 films, THE GRAPES OF WRATH (I saw it offered only twice in the last 20 years).

He did some of the more expensive German 50s 1sh's & double panels. I'll make an exception and post some posters which I do not own:
