Rosa, another one will cross your path, I'm sure of it. Hopefully it will be cheaper than this one. Good thing about this hobby is that something else will come up that you desire and take the pain away on this loss.

I'm with T on this one, seems a little bit expensive to me, also the Laura 1sheet was a crazy price. That's a poster I desire but there's no way I'm getting involved when it hits those numbers.

Sorry for your loss, Rosa.  That GWTW is a beaut, and I'm sure that someone will let you know if they see another in the future.

Thank you, appreciate  the support and good advice. Nothing compares to APFres and chocolate to get over these things...

Not quite in the league of some of the killer grabs posted here lately, but I've been looking for this one for a long time, and finally found it (with the help of the other Chris (thanks again, buddy  :))).

Critters original Polish release.

Mieczyslaw Wasilewski is great.  I like how he puts a face in so much of his work.  Nice one.

Everyone is in his/her own league.

There are no leagues, just good and bad posters, from all countries, of all sizes, at any price.

I have never seen that one before but being a fan of bad B horror and its paper that is a good one. I have never seen this one before but it's actually really cool the way he did it as simple as it is.

It went to a good home! Better condition and cheaper than the one you were looking at on the ebay. I love it myself, and probably would have grabbed it later. I also like to help other collectors.....so no worries man, Enjoy.

Did you end up getting it from kinoart?? I had my eye on it for a long time, and wanted to buy it. But last 2-3 weeks ago I checked it out, and it was sold.

Point taken... A good perspective to view it from.  thumbsup.gif

Thanks, Jeff! I think it stands out as truly unique film art, even among the super surreal Polish work!

Thanks! It's really simple in each of its elements, but takes a minute to take them all in to realize the whole... and it all works so well.

Yeah man, picked it up from Wolfgang at KinoArt. It was a little more than I wanted to pay for it, but it's the best one I'd seen, so I decided to pounce on it. If it helps, it's in a good home  :) If I see another one I'll be sure drop you a line.

Great timing too.  Next week is Critters' 30th anniversary.  I have never seen this movie (which is why I don't own a single poster for it).  Is it any good?

T

PS: Just checked my collection.  Here are a few other works by Mieczyslaw.  Notice the faces...

Thanks for those examples, T. Awesome work for sure.

As for the film, it's definitely worth a watch. I'm partial to it because it's one of the first R-rated/horror films that I saw in a movie theater as a kid. My mom dropped me and a few of my cousins off to see something else, and we snuck and saw Critters instead. Memories...
