Graham Humphreys
« on: July 28, 2015, 04:04:41 PM »
I know there are several fans of poster artist Graham Humphreys (Evil Dead, Elm Street quads, et al) on this forum so thought this was worth a mention, a new art book collecting a good chunk of his work.

https://www.proudonline.co.uk/p/1035/graham-humphreys-horror-art

At £150 (just over $230 at the current exchange rate), it's not exactly cheap. it's limited to 500 copies according to the website.

If you like Humphreys' art, are into documentaries of doomed projects or just make sure that Val Kilmer is indeed a dick, I recommend http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3966544/?ref_=nm_flmg_ardp_1 this. Very funny as well as lots of great Humphrey's art.

Haha yeah, I'd rather buy a poster myself, it's too much. Maybe a non limited version later for normal people.

Since this book first appeared on the market, it's also been offered on the various, international Amazon sites. But the best deal still looks to be the original price offered by the publisher:  https://www.proudonline.co.uk/p/1035/graham-humphreys-horror-art

The list price of 150 GBP (for a copy out of an edition of 500) is still the selling price.

This is the book cover:

There is a new book of Graham Humphreys art coming out in November and the even better news is that this time the list price is a lot more reasonable. It’s up for pre-order now at the below link.

I’m not sure how much of the book will be focused on his film posters but thought its publication was still sufficiently of interest to warrant posting.

Looks cool, Mardukas! And, Vincent Price's ghost moaning the inclusion of a signed book plate!  Okie
