Mogambo SpanUS, 1953, repro or not !

I bought a Mogambo, Spanish US poster on Emovieposter - http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/film_title/MOGAMBO/tag/nation%253ASpain/tag/extra%253Auf/archive.html

Now, the description says that it is an original poster of 1953...

1/ I haven't found any other similar poster online (none on ebay, HA, Benito, etc.)

2/ The paper of the poster itself is very clean...

Looks like a repro to me and not an original 1953.

Anyone here bought has one of these and mind to share what they think about it

From the link you gave, it looks like emovie has sold at least 5 others of this style. Why do you say you havent seen it elsewhere? Or were you meaning on the other auction sites as well?

Is your copy the same size as the others listed?

(Or maybe Im missing something here?)  

email and ask emovie. They pride themselves on not selling repros (unless one might be noted as such initially in the poster descrip).

I do think there are repros/commercial if I recall right.  Notes in EMP he calls one Special Poster versus Spanish...

Mine is same size as the recent ones (39x56cm). Yes they call it "MGM special poster issued for Spanish-speakers in US"...

I don't know first time I get a poster and have that feeling it is not right... too clean, too new looking, too sharp for a 1953 poster in my opinion (indeed most are grading "very good to fine")

Add to this the facts that quite a number sold recently, some with different origins (they said original Spain first release 1954 in the linen that sold recently; Spanish-US in others), BUT only at EMP.

May be one of you has one in his collection...
