No problem Jeff.... I will try to post some period images later today.

Here is another recent arrival which is not a Propaganda
poster, but a travel poster for the Island of Heligoland off
the German northwest coast.

This is by the well known artist, Anton, whom I have several
wartime propaganda posters by.

He was a prolific artist for travel posters both pre and post-war.

This poster is one of his pre-war designs and dates from 1935.

Such a vibrant blue, I have always wanted one.

Here is a war period Paris street scene in colour
showing several posters among which is one of
the LVF posters (Legion of French Volunteers)
that I posted earlier.

Mine is not this super large size as shown in the
photo, my one is 77.5cm x 117.5cm

Colour photos of propaganda posters are not
easy to find.

There is a different LVF poster to the right of
this and I have been looking for one of these
also, although I have never seen one available
thus far.

Photos showing two SS Officers whom I assume work for the SS Hauptamt (SS Main Office),
who are looking over an assortment of different propaganda posters.

Some more of random posters...

Dutch pro-German poster on a kiosk (advertising column).

The Jeugstorm poster with seagull is one that John posted
in his Dutch NSB poster thread just recently. (top left in image).

The Jeugstorm was the Dutch equivalent of the Hitler Youth.

This one shows the Orange Dutch SS recruitment poster that I
recently acquired. Another fantastic colour shot!

A nice selection of posters shown in this Flemish SS booklet on the right hand side.

The top left poster (on the page to the right) shows the Flemish (VLAMINGEN) version of the
Dutch - NEDERLANDERS poster I posted the other day.

Thanks for posting the street and other "in use" photos, Christian. The color ones are especially nice, giving them and the entire image, that added life.

Yes it is the Dutch poster for the film and probably the best one and rarest....!

I know of a few collectors that would love to have one in their collection.

And also to see how those 2 posters, among the grouping there, have been the most damaged/vandalized.

That's kinda extreme, Mac.
Sustained nut-kicks should suffice.

A new arrival just before the weekend hit...!

A quite rare Flemish SS Legion recruitment & blatant anti-bolshevik poster.

Yet another large size poster = 30” wide” x 49” high / 75 cm x 125 cm

It is one of many that will requite linen backing to iron out all the creases
and small holes and tears that it has accumulated over the past 70+ years.

Cheers...

Two new additions...

A very hard to find French version of Anton's famous SS poster.

Basically a German version of the 'We want you posters done by the American's and British'.

Already came linen backed which was nice, considering it did not come cheap!

115 x 75cm
