Great artist info, Ted. You da man when it comes to knowing so much about these talented people, right off the top of your head.  notworthy.gif

You are too kind, Jeff.
Drucker is now 85 yo.
An amazing talent.

Howdy!

First of all, Ted--thank you for the info on Mort Drucker. Oh man--his art IS "MAD" magazine. I haven't seen an issue in years, but when (if he hasn't already) he retires, the magazine will NEVER be the same. His style IS the magazine. I can now totally see it in the AMERICAN GRAFFETI poster too. (I wonder if he also did the MAD magazine spoof of the movie? Ha!)

Now here is the last of my new (to me) poster purchases from the last several weeks. Once I get this posted, I intend to "take a break" from the Forum for a while. Since being off of work, I've spent far too much time shopping for posters (literally CHARGING up thousands of dollars in the process. Smart!  NOT!) and spending way too much time online perusing the forum (and drooling all over the screen while looking at other scrumptious posters...and then going shopping some more, and continuing the vicious and costly cycle!). There are so many OTHER things I need to do or could be doing instead. I could write some articles for the newspaper (and earn some much needed CASH), I could pack up stuff to send to auction, I could write the (Not-So-) Great American Novel, or I could clean my bathroom (o' the horror!). Heck, just getting my laundry put away would be a major achievement. I'm sure I won't be away long--I'm such a poster addict/whore. But I hope to be away at least a week, through Halloween at the very least (but longer would be better--financially! Ha!).

Anyway, here are the last o' the spending spree batch:

THE WOLFMAN:  Out of this crop, this is the poster I regret getting the most. THE WOLFMAN? I didn't recall any recent WOLFMAN movie. I certainly didn't recall the poster. I was unsure about it, but it was kind of cool looking. I bid the lowest amount, assuming I'd be outbid. No one bothered. And then I remembered there WAS a recent WOLFMAN movie--that sucked o' soooo much (and was overly long. UGH!). No wonder no one bid against me...but I still don't remember this poster. Oh well.

SCREAM BLOODY MURDER:  This is not the most attractive poster in the world by a long shot, but I have long been wanting a copy. It's an alternate one sheet for SCREAM BLOODY MURDER (I don't want to say it's a Style B, because it might be a re-release or something else. I'm just not sure) and it's got some great exploitative/gimmick stuff going on here. I'm such a sucker for gimmicks. In addition to its claim that it is the "first motion picture to be called Gore-nography", there is also the blurb that screams "You will be required to have a Scream Bloody Murder Blindfold upon entering the theatre. Free with ticket purchase." Zowie! I want a Scream Bloody Murder Blindfold! (I'm sure some critic pointed out that the blindfolds came in handy so you didn't have to watch the entire crappy movie--not just the gory parts. I haven't seen the film, but you know how critics are. They almost always hate horror flicks.)

THE PHOENIX (Thai): I know nothing about this movie other than it stars Richard "Jaws" Kiel (he's the giant in the center) and the poster features incredible Thai art as usual.

NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN (Thai): Oooo... Gotta get my Thai Bonds going. Might as well start with this one. Although not part of the official series, it still stars Sean Connery. Yowza!

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (Thai):  Zoinks!  Freddy Kreuger--Thai style. Like my "BOOGEY MAN" poster, it takes the original poster art and cranks it up a couple of notches to become a cool "must have"! Wowzer!

SAW (International): When I was shopping, I realized I had nothing from the "SAW" series...and thought that was a mistake, as down the road they might obtain a cult following (and poster costs would go up). So I decided to get a poster for the first film. (Aside from the clever use of two fingers for part 2 and three teeth for part 3, let's face it, the SAW sequel posters sucked.) I'd have preferred the more common one sheet, but this one came my way. Still creepy/gruesome. Not too expensive either. Sold.

ONE MILLION AC/DC:  Hmm.. I was finally hoping to score a ONE MILLION BC... Ha! Not gonna happen, apparently. But I came across this poster. Being the purveyor of trash, er...uh, posters of obscure and questionable content, I wasn't gonna let this one pass me by. Hello? It has half naked cave people battling a dinosaur on top while half naked (or more) cave people are doing other things (oh my!) in a cavern under ground. Jeepers!

CURSE OF THE DOLL PEOPLE / THE VAMPIRE: This last poster I've wanted for ages. It is a combo poster for two silly Mexican horror movies from the 60s. It features a great gimmick "FREE! From the vampire's blood bank...Blood Cocktails. Can you drink them?" Zowie! Plus, who doesn't like taking "a psychedelic trip into the 5th dimension"? Sign me up! Sure the artwork is weak and it's just a black and white thing--but it calls to me. One auctioned off a week or so ago and went way, way higher than I could/world go...and then this one fell into my lap for only about a tenth of what the auctioned one went for. Crazy awesome!

Anyway, that is it for now. Have a super go-go groovy Halloween!

CHEERS!

Hey very nice Thai pickups.  The PHOENIX is a great poster, I've got one as well.  NIGHTMARE is a total classic.  Be advised the NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN is a re-release of the poster.  The original release is larger and has a PEPSI logo in the blank white spot just above the DOLBY logo.  This is one of those posters along with NIGHTMARE that comes from the APEX warehouse.  I did a serious observation of the NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN poster when I was trying to figure out if it was original or not and found something interesting.  If you look at Connery's forehead you will see that there is damage to the artwork that starts just at the bottom of the silencer....it looks like the printing plate was actually damaged and they painted over the damage or something like that.  That's when I finally figured out that the large one I had was the actual original (no damage).  A year later it was confirmed.  It is an original, it's just that it's a re-release and that's why there are so many floating around.  It's an awesome poster.

Steve--Thought you'd like that one.

Mike--Glad you signed on. I hope you get this note. I'm a bit bummed to learn NEVER SAY NEVER is a re-release (or just a print?). I'm learning...  My question is about THE PHOENIX. In the upper left hand corner there is a logo that looks like the old CINERAMA logo, but with Thai characters instead. Could it be??  That sounds a bit crazy, but it's there and I thought I'd ask.

Okay--over and out. Happy Halloween everyone.

Yeah I don't think that has to do with Cinerama, but who knows.  It's actually a fantasy film made in Taiwan.  Here is IMDB info on it, nothing about CINERAMA is mentioned.

Great detail close ups on the Never Say Never, Mike.  thumbsup.gif

You can also see a difference in the print quality / contrast between the original and the later rr, and a difference in the depth of color, too.

Very cool stuff, MAGG! I especially like the Del Toro Wolfman and Thai NOES posters!!

So I'm BACK, from outer space!
I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face.
I should have changed that stupid lock.
I should have made you leave your key...

Why the heck am I writing the lyrics to an old disco song?  Ha!

But I really am back from outer space. I circled Uranus and barely escaped the gravitational pull of a giant black hole! If it hadn't been for a blast of some evil and deadly space gas that escaped from the black hole and knocked me free from its gravitational clutches, who knows what horrors I might have encountered? EEEK!

Yeah, I'm BORED!!!

Hello! How are you? How was your Halloween? I got out of town and...did absolutely NOTHING. Waaagh! My favorite holiday shot to hell again. Waaaagh!

But I'm back on. I was planning to stay away longer---but my poster addiction won't let me. Ha!

And, of course, I picked up a few things (there was this out of this world little poster shop on this out of the way asteroid on one of Saturn's rings) and have pictures here to share with you. Nothing too exciting. You'll see. Hang on though. I need to acknowledge my visitors--as I always do.

Let's see...

Ooooo Mr. Wright . Thanks for the IMDB link. How curious that this film, from the late 70s (released in 1980), is considered "lost". How does that happen--especially with home video just taking off about then. Too bad. The film sounded interesting.

Crazy Vick: I DID take it easy, pal!  Unlike you, with the new Crazy Baby in the Crazy Household. I'll bet you've had very little rest. Poor guy. I took it easy for YOU!.

Hi Jeff. Glad you like the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET...very much like the US version, but pushed to the next level with that groovy renderings of scenes from the flick in the upper left/right sides. Those Thais really know how to punch it up. Also glad you like the WOLFMAN poster. It's different than the US version--but the film was sooo dull (to me anyway). It could have been great but completely missed the mark. The poster is nice though, I suppose.

Rosa, how are you? No--i did not have any Halloween party to go to. I just got out of town for a bit...and was bored there too. How was YOUR Halloween? Have any fun?

Ted--Yes, ONE MILLION AC/DC. I thought you'd appreciate that one. Ha!  No Raquel Welch, but...  Ha!

Lynaron! What an unexpected and welcome surprise. You rarely stop by. I'm glad you did. Your little joke was great. Truly electrifying. THANKS! Ha!

Okay... Here's the latest. Again--nothing to get too excited about. Just minor stuff really.

First, although I already have two copies of this (and you remember THOSE dramas. UGH!), I couldn't help myself when I stumbled upon another copy of the poster for the first Olga movie, "WHITE SLAVES OF CHINATOWN". It's in pretty rough shape--like Madame Olga herself was torturing it. Poor little poster. What sort of sordid and degrading life has it had until it came to live with me?  What sort of shocking and shameful existence will it have once I sell this puppy off? I don't know what I was thinking. Oh well... I have another one--for the moment any way.  These films were extremely low budget garbage--no sync sound, usually just a narrator. It amazes me that these little piece o' crap movies were popular enough to make 5 of them altogether. Ha! They're not for everyone, but I dig 'em. The posters for them are soooo rare though. Jeepers.

Oh my stars!  From 1964, here is the trashy trailer--NSFW (Not Safe For Work): https://youtu.be/g5ui4gLphpg  And here (gasp!) is the whole sordid NSFW flick: https://youtu.be/Vwc3zEuyevM

ILSA THE TIGRESS OF SIBERIA:

Sticking with sexploitation, most exploitation film critics film agree that the sleazy little Olga flicks were the inspiration for the Ilsa flicks. Here is the poster for the third (and final) Ilsa film (there is a fourth, but it's a retitling and re-dubbing of another movie with similar themes and the same female star. That is "Ilsa the Wicked Warden" formerly "Greta the Wicked Warden"), "Ilsa The Tigress of Siberia". I already have a poster for this film, but it just reads "The Tigress" (as most of the US one sheets do) or possibly "The Tigress of Siberia". I had been looking and looking for a poster, in English, with the full title "Ilsa The Tigress of Siberia"--but had never seen one until recently. Zowie! I could NOT let it escape me.

Here's the NSFW Trailer https://youtu.be/cGCJX92P3mQ

THE SINNERS:

I came across some "bad girl" posters the other day. This one is from the early 1950s. Shocking! Scandalous! Oh my stars! I have no idea what the flick is about, but it was sleazy-cool. So daring! So frank! So shocking!

THAT KIND OF GIRL:

Here's another "bad girl" flick. Apparently this is a British VD/exploitation flick that was released here as "TEENAGE TRAMP". Any of you know her? Shocking! I'd never heard of it before, but have since found the trailer (below). It looks like a hoot, like something SOMETHING WEIRD VIDEO would put out (they probably do). This is the kind of poster (I have a few posters of a similar nature) I would sometimes hang in my guest room and would put a little piece of paper over the plexiglass that would read something like " (Female guest name) is... 'That Kind of Girl' ", as if my guest were the star. Ha. It was a very subtle little gag and they didn';t always see it. But it was funny when they did.

NSFW Trailer: https://youtu.be/isfPwGnjdb4

(A TASTE OF) HOT LEAD:

This 1969 film I also knew nothing about until I picked up the poster. It's a nudie/roughie from just before out and out porn was legal, and probably something SOMETHING WEIRD would have for sale. The NSFW trailer is below. The film is supposed to be in color, but the trailer is so washed out--everyone looks green. Some of the narration is funny, but it's typical nudie/roughie stuff. I did like the poster though...nothing special but bound to be rare. Curiously though, the title seems to be "A Taste of Hot Lead", but the title on the poster is just "Hot Lead". (I actually like the shorter title better). By the way, the one shown is NOT my poster. This picture, found online, shows it better than the photo of the auction I bought it from.

NSFW trailer: https://youtu.be/P7ETlu-jP64

THE EROTIC ADVENTURES OF ZORRO:

I have the posters for THE EROTIC ADVENTURES OF PINOCCHIO and the X-rated ALICE IN WONDERLAND, so why not THE EROTIC ADVENTURES OF ZORRO? In the poster, notice he has carved a "z" in the lady he is fighting's fanny? Ha. Clever. The movie doesn't look that good though. NSFW trailer is below:

NSFW Trailer: https://youtu.be/W2vNNqrGXhQ

ADAM AND EVE-THE FIRST LOVE STORY (aka ADAM AND EVE VS THE CANNIBALS):

A while ago i posted the Italian poster for this flick. It was just a photo of the scantily clad stars. The reason i had gotten it, is because I had actually seen this flick and it was so jaw-droppingly bizarre-o, I had to have it. I saw it under the title "ADAM AND EVE VS THE CANNIBALS" (even though the cannibals are only in the flick for about 5 minutes). The poster I just got (shown below) was the cover art used ("Versus the Cannibals" was the subtitle though--not the "First Love Story" crap). It was such a wonderfully and deliriously bad movie, I decided to scoop up this poster as well. And guess what? I found the movie for YOU to enjoy (or not) as well. Ha!

Here is the whole partially NSFW movie: https://youtu.be/P6nt39t7AgA

CANNIBALS:

I finally saw this movie this past weekend...after I had already purchased the poster. Ha! Oh well, the poster is kind of fun even if the movie is utter crap (a Jess Franco flick). Also known as "Mondo Cannibal" (as are several other cannibal flicks, such as "The Man From Deep River") and "White Cannibal Queen", this masTURDpiece features cannibals that not only eat human flesh, they appear to be starving and gorge themselves as soon as they kill someone. No cooking. No taking them back to share with the rest of the folks in the cannibal village...just dive in and start chewing and ripping pieces off--even while the victim is alive. Zowie! I kind of doubt any cannibal tribe anywhere was ever that hungry. Al ("Zombie") Cliver stars as an archeologist who gets his arm whacked off by the cannibals. His wife gets killed/eaten and his daughter is kidnapped. Years later, he goes back in search of her and discovers she's grown up to be a very bad actress who is frequently nude and is also the tribe's white goddess. Can he get her home safely--or will the cannibals make a meal out of the rest of him? Here's a very hard to see trailer below.

NSFW Trailer: https://youtu.be/LMpUyCII3J8

VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS:

Is there anyone who hasn't seen this groovy flick from Bert I. Gordon (aka Mr. B.I.G.)? Teenagers (including Beau Bridges, Toni Basil and Joy Harmon) eat a goo accidentally created by super genius, little Ronny Howard and zoom to super size. They go-go dance in slow motion and wear skimpy outfits...and take over the town!!! EEK!  Also featuring the Beau Brummels and a super groovy theme song. I already had a copy of the poster--but this copy was too cheap (under $20??  Really??) to pass up.

Trailer:  https://youtu.be/Oa2dTcxwOMI.    Here's the whole film: https://youtu.be/TBLbnuEtr0U.  And, zowie! Here's the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version: https://youtu.be/KTsP_kuglp8.     Here's a bonus clip with the groovy theme music and giant slo-mo go-go dancing giants and the scene from the poster (with the guy holding on to the giant's chest: https://youtu.be/Gh5h3zzVtKw.     And here's a clip just for Steve: https://youtu.be/hfPghWET0tA.

EVILS OF THE NIGHT:

I knew nothing about this movie--but have long wanted the poster. It looks like it's by the same cheezy artist who did "DR BUTCHER" perhaps? It looks like a crappy flick, but the artwork is fun. You've got what, at first glance, could almost be the Millennium Falcon swooping down from the sky, a terrified girl with a tube attached to her jugular, spewing blood up to a pair of creepy creatures in a bubble, while creepy hands grab her from below...and what an amazingly craptacular cast! Neville Brand, Aldo Ray, Julie Newmar, John Carradine and Tina Louise!!!! Wow! I may have to see that movie sometime for the cast alone. Or not.

Trailer:  https://youtu.be/Fdso2Phy360  Minute version of the whole movie: https://youtu.be/wvFJ2_XqFDo

TERROR IN THE JUNGLE:

I usually don't post more than 10 posters at a time, but here's a lucky 11th poster (because---oops! I already had the title, poster image link and film clip link on here ready to go before adding the text...and counting the number of posters I was listing). You are thinking, "Terror in the Jungle"? This looks like absolute crap. Why bother? I am fairly certain I already have this poster--but saw this cheap copy and snatched it up. Oh my stars--this film should be better known than it is. It should be a cult flick. It's so awesome...well, the first half hour is the best part of the whole movie. The last hour...eh. It's kind of lame--and forgettable. But that first half hour---just amazing!

The film was made by three different directors, and it shows. The first half hour was directed by Tom DeSimone, who would later go on to direct gay porn (!). Ha! Oh, i WISH I could find the trailer or the whole movie or even just  the first half hour to share with you. I found a short clip (below) and that's but a tasty little sample of the pure insane joy of that first 30 minutes. The film is about a kid whose parents are divorced. He lives with his dad in Florida, but he has to go visit mom who lives in South America somewhere. So off he goes with his stuffed toy leopard all alone. Once at the plane, we meet this wonderful assortment of cliched characters. There's the starlet (she's the one dancing in the clip) who just got her big break and is off to film the movie that will make her a star. Then there is the rich woman, being stalked by the paparazzi, who was just acquitted of murdering her husband and is traveling with all of her millions in cash. There is the really bad wannabe Beatles-like band, traveling in their performing outfits. They all look too old and are obviously wearing wigs (they'll be in the video performing a song live on the plane--but clearly are not singing it and the song fades out like a recording). And then there are the nuns aboard with a coffin containing a dead nun--taking it back to wherever they came from. There's an argumentative couple, etc. All of these great characters in what plays like a low budget precursor to the "AIRPORT" films. I won't give away what happens, but it is just jaw-dropping insane and brilliant. I really, REALLY love that first half hour of film. Bravo!!!!  Highly recommended (if you love trash cinema). That's why I am thrilled with this poster. Check out the doofy clip below.

"Soft Lips"clip: https://youtu.be/_LVpsjERy9g

I have a few other posters to share...including some surprises from Ari the Wonder Man Down Under and something I bought from Jeff!  oh my!  Stay tuned.

Thanks for visiting.

Mr. Wright! Hi Mike (I like saying Mr. Wright...is that okay?). I really love TERROR IN THE JUNGLE (well, the first third). It IS gloriously bad. I don't recall a gorilla suit, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is one in there. (Spoiler) If a toy stuffed leopard can magically become real for a little while, why NOT a guy in a gorilla suit? Ha!

Welcome back man, nice posters too! Particularly the Ilsa and Evils of the Night posters. I saw the Evils of the Night poster on ebay a few months back and almost bought it. I too have never seen it but I love that poster.

e!!  How are you? You digging belonging to APF still? So glad you joined! Glad you like the Ilsa (see below) and the EVILS OF THE NIGHT posters. EVILS is kinda cheesy looking, but still cool. Keep your eye out. The dealer who has been selling them I am reasonably sure got a bulk lot of them from an auction site. If it is him, he is selling them at marked up prices. They'll come down because they haven't been selling--and he has a lot of them (if he got them where I think he got them). Just keep your eye out for them...and some day you WILL score one. Good luck!

And don't mess with Ilsa, the Tigress of Siberia. She sure looks like she means business with her blade and various 'modes' of expression.  piratemel

Hi Jeff. Yes, don't mess with Ilsa is right!  Yikes! I ran into her last year and, as tiny as she is (who knew? She seems so statuesque in the movies), she still forced me to hold up some poster for her latest direct-to-video movie. I had to comply...or face being tossed to the dogs, castrated, electrocuted, or WORSE!!! And at 70-something, look at her all decked out in leather! You better do what she says--or ELSE!

And now, I must dash! I'll be gone again the rest of the weekend. I have a friend in town--my oldest friend I've known since high school (the ONLY person I still know from then). She's in town to help her sister out--and wants me to hang out with her all weekend and have a little "slumber party". Hmm. While I'm NOT thrilled at the slumber party aspect (Hello? I'm a 50 year old dude--and no, it's NOT that kind of relationship), I am looking forward to hanging out with her. So I'll catch you all later.

CHEERS and thanks again for saying hello!

Cha-cha-cha!

Ah I have this poster too.  Thanks Brandon for the info.  The 75 theatres includes Canada I hear.

Now I wonder if this one was also originally produced too as a OS? Guessing no...

Good luck!
Doing good, loving it here. Yes, the Evils poster is quite cheesy, I LOVE it  ;D. The movie looks to be on the same level, if not more. I'll have to be on the lookout for one, I'm definitely not going near those expensive ones on ebay currently. Cool you got to meet Ilsa, and man she really is alot shorter than I expected. Well, have a great rest of your weekend!

Hi!  I'm B-A-C-K again and OH NOOOOOOooooo!  I did it to myself again. Today was the big finale to the Halloween auction on emovie AND another Heritage auction. i bid big before leaving and when I get back....oh no. What did I do to myself? Ouch. Needless to say I was NOT outbid on much. There are still two things waiting for the final gavel to strike on heritage and I HOPE I get outbid. Argh! (They should be done by the time I finish this posting...so I'll let you know. Fingers crossed I lose them--and I "won" far too much already. Crap-o-rama ding-dong!)

Okay, last time I poster posted, I said I had some things obtained from our fellow poster posting peeps out there in APF land. Zowie!  I'll share those (and other things) in a moment. But first let me say HEY to those who've visited since I was last on.

Ah I have this poster too.  Thanks Brandon for the info.  The 75 theatres includes Canada I hear.

Hi Jedgerley! Yes, Brandon was awesome for supplying the info (and I still wish i'd been able to see the flick. Darn it all!). The posters for PIRANHA 3DD are so hard to find. I totally wish/hope they made one sheets for the one above--but you can't really count on it. Just be glad we at least scored the ones we have.

Hey Mister e (get it?) I am so glad to hear you are enjoying yourself here. There are a great bunch of people on here--and a whole lot more I have not even really "met" yet. And yes, as i said earlier, I am pretty sure you'll be able to get a cheaper copy of EVILS eventually. Yes, Ilsa IS short in real life--but don't ever let her hear you say that, otherwise she'll look gigantic as she is crushing your face into the carpet with one of her steel-toed boots! Yikes! :-)

Gingerman--WOW! I'm glad you are feeling better--and look at you GO! I completely missed the discussion on the mural AND your website, both of which look AWESOME! Bravo! Well done. I use this page as my version of a website to keep track of what I have. The stuff on here is only what I've gotten since I started this thread (with a few noted exceptions, of course). I have way, way, WAY too many (been collecting since I was a kid) to do what you are doing---so I applaud that effort on your part. Congrats! And you're NOT going to venture out and buy posters from before 1980? (I bet it happens someday... Hee hee hee!) Cheers!

Okay--now on to the posters...

SLEEPWALKERS:

The first item I'd like to call your attention to comes from Jeff/erik1925! He PMed me and wanted to know if I'd like to buy a subway poster. He recently got a SLEEPWALKERS subway and got a 2nd one as well. He offered me a good price for it and--SOLD! This is my first subway! I do NOT have the room to take a photo of it, so I'm using a picture of one found online--it's a pretty awful picture though. See Jeff's post about his in the October new additions link--to give you an idea of what I have. AWESOMENESS!  It's HUGE. THANK YOU JEFF!

Next, i have proof that Ari, the wonder down under, has truly lost his mind and is completely insane...or is the most amazingly nice guy you could ever hope to meet. Ari approached me a while back. He told me about his website where he sells various types of posters among other things. He had previously sent me a super surprise package as a sort of universal offering to nurses everywhere--which was so cool--and the stuff I ordered from his was super cool too. (Both the gift and the ordered posters have already been posted. Scroll back a bit to see them). Ari kept threatening to include some extra goodies with my order. After the incredibly generous surprise package, there was no way I was going to accept anything extra...and I flat out told him NO EXTRA GOODIES. The packages (one flat, one rolled) arrived and they were filled with bonus surprises! Oh my stars! Ari--you crazy wonderful guy--you are going to give all of your stock away! I only ordered a handful of items--just 3 or 4--and he sent 8 (EIGHT!!!) bonus goodies along! Oh my STARS!!!!! Here they are:

NAKED TO HELL:

I know NOTHING about this title (or a lot of the titles that Ari sent), so I'll have to do some research very soon. The poster almost looks like something from Harry Novak's Box Office International, maybe? I can't find the title on IMDB.

HELL'S CREATURES:

Clearly a Paul Naschy wolfman flick. I'm guessing this one is what was released here as FRANKENSTEIN'S BLOODY TERROR perhaps? What "size" is that, Ari? Very cool horror image Naschy--and in gruesome green!  Spooky groovy!

COSI DOLCE... COSI PERVERSA (aka SO SWEET... SO PERVERSE):

This is an Umberto Lenzi giallo from long before he made CANNIBAL FEROX. I've never seen it, but those Italian giallos are often weirdly good. It's been on my list to see and now I have the locandia (sp?) to egg me on! Ha!

A TRANSYLVANIAN WEREWOLF IN AMERICA (aka FULL MOON HIGH):

Oh my stars! Ari, I just remembered. I was originally going to buy this poster--as I was curious about it (very clever rip-off title from AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON). When you told me it was actually FULL MOON HIGH, i changed my mind and got something else. Thank you--but I KNOW this was on your site as being for sale. Oh Ari! You ARE losing money by being so super duper nice. Never saw this--but this poster kind of makes me want to. Hmm. (I still like this rip-off title better than FULL MOON HIGH). Anyway, this film stars Adam Arkin--and if that's him on the center of the poster, he does look a little like a chubby version of David "An American Werewolf in London" Naughton, I guess. Look at the rest of the cast--Ha! Ed (Johnny Carson's TONIGHT SHOW sidekick) McMahon? Kenneth (WHAT'S UP DOC?/YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN) Mars? Demond (Lamont from SANFORD AND SON) Wilson? JM (Monroe from TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT) Bullock? ROZ (Pinky Tuscadero) KELLY? Ha!

NIKOS THE IMPALER:

How did I miss this flick? It stars Felissa ("Sleepaway Camp") Rose, Lloyd (Troma) Kaufman, and Debbie Rochon. Aside from that, I know nothing about it. Hmm.

DIE NONNE VON MONZA:

Another flick I'll need to investigate. Apparently THE LADY OF MONZA is an early nunsploitation flick. Hmm. Could be cool... I'll have to check it out.

DEAD AND BURIED (Thai):

Oh my stars! I have almost purchased this poster several times since discovering Thai. Zowie--the Thai DEAD & BURIED. I'm not so sure about now, but back in the 80s and 90s Fresno was sometimes used as a test market for movies. DEAD & BURIED was tested here with an alternate (and ultimately unused) title, "LOOK ALIVE". I have the film on DVD, but have never seen it yet. I may also have the poster (I wonder if one exists with the alternate, tested title?)--but the Thai poster is just that much more WOW-y with the extras that have been added to it. Jeepers! How cool.

ERASERHEAD promo mask:

I have wanted one of these for the longest time. Never got around to getting one--until now. Yowza! I'll probably never track down an ERASERHEAD poster, but these cool promo masks (given out to promote ERASERHEAD playing midnight shows) is the next best thing. Kowabunga! It sings to me--like the lady in the radiator! :-)

[ Auction update!  OOoooo!  Yes!  I've been outbid on one of the two items. One left to go. Fingers crossed I do NOT get it. ]

HERCULES, SAMSON AND ULYSSES:

My final poster tonight is for another old Hercules flick from the 60s, "HERCULES, SAMSON AND ULYSSES". I have another copy of this--but it's rather rough. I haven't seen this flick (or have I?). That's okay--just a habit picking up old Herc posters when i see them.

Okay--that';s 10 new listings and... I was outbid on that 2nd item too! Yahoo! (Of course--there's all of the things I DID win on emovie and heritage tonight I'll have to pay for. UGH! I'll post those and others once the dust clears. GEEZ! How do i constantly do this to myself?)

Thank you Jeff and and especially Ari (shame on you--you were not supposed to send anything else! GRR!) for feeding my addiction further. Ha!
