A0 size (33x46 inches) for The Rocketeer (1991) using the same John Mattos artwork as was used on the US material.

Nice poster, Nick. Looks to be in good shape, too.

Is that the artist's signature on the lower left?

Well it's in considerable better shape than I am!

Indeed it is the artists signature. A German double act called Kienast and Klotz. Rather catchy I think. A good runner up to Bialystock and Bloom!

Thanks old chap! As of late I seem to have devoted an annoying amount of time to being ill. Must be my age. However, I shall endeavour to pop in from time to time...

One of my favourite Bogie posters. Art BY Fisher. East Germany 1st release. I need to frame it.

West-Germany, not East Germany. 60s re-release...

From the look and design of this poster, I wondered if it was actually East German, let alone a first release.

Thanks for setting the record straight, Mike.  cheers

I'd rather have the super-rare 1st release by Hans-Otto Wendt:

That's a really awesome looking poster, Mike.

What year was the first release in Germany?
