Theater Almost Complete!
« on: December 19, 2014, 03:50:58 PM »
Ok, I have a few things still to do.  I need to carpet the riser and take care of some minor cord management issues.  Also, the large format posters still need to be framed and hung.  I am toying with adding some tactile transducers in the seats/riser, but have not decided on that one for sure.  OVerall though, I am 95% of the way there.

Equipment Rack.  I wish I had a place to make this a built in.  But, those are both exterior walls.

Blank Screen -- tab tensioned electric retractable (Pale Rider 1sh for scale)

The picture:

The overhead light is on in this one

Overhead light and 4 can lights (2 front and 2 rear) on.

All lights off:

The posters.  Like I said, I will be hanging some more, and I will update this thread as I get that done.

Looking good Schan, though looking at the size of that Sub, you won't need anything under the seats, mine rattles the house...

Thanks Paul!  And that is exactly why I am waiting.  Its a 13.5 inch ported sub its 22.5x20.5x27" and weighs 155 lbs.  I am fairly certain if I cranked it up, it might make my ears bleed with a good chance of also causing bowel evacuation.

Crikey, definitely nothing else, I barely have mine up a third, and when there's an explosion my trouser bottoms move with the resonance...

I'm liking the chairs too, I'm on the look out for some of those...just two for now, there pretty expensive. ;)

I just added an Episode EVO-10 in the back of the room.  It's a nice little sub and works very complimentary to the SVS up front.  I was skeptical that multiple subs could really do that much, but now I am a believer.

Beautiful. I am green with envy.

On a side note: that Ohrai Starfall poster looks absolutely puny in that majestic home theater.
Definitely not worthy.
You should trade up for something larger.

You do have my address, don't you?

Happy New Year to you and the family!
