I have a lot of time for Abram Games. There was a stunning exhibition of his work at the Design Museum in London a few years ago. An extraordinary variety of work and always highly inventive...

I'm not intentionally following a war theme here - which is just as well because I think this is the last one in my collection! Tom Eckersley is another poster designer I admire. His Dali-esque 1945 plea to cut down on unnecessary telephone calls is one of my favourites...
