Thanks!  Yeah, that is one of my favorites.  It's not too common to see Mexican one sheets from this era with the landscape orientation

The artist, Antonio Arias Bernal, also did a lot of caricature, political cartoons, and propaganda work.

The book "El siglo XX en la mirada de Antonio Arias Bernal" has some cool examples of his non-poster work (sadly out of print):

Very interesting, Ill check it out.

clap John Ford.  John Ford. John Ford. Can I ask you where did you get it? I found one at a "buy it now"  post auction in Spain,  waited a couple of days and when I finally decided to buy it...ohhhhplofffffffff nothing....nada..it was gone. Houdini style.

If it went to you, very happy it found a good home thumbsup.gif

Glad you like it!  If I recall correctly I got this from emovieposter.  So there must be at least one more of these out there.

This is either the worst poster I own or the best.  I can't decide.

This is my favorite image for any poster for "Les quatre cents coups".  This is from an '80s rerelease.

Fritz Lang released The Testament of Dr Mabuse in a French version with different actors (though some actors from the German version appear in the French one as well).  The artwork isn't nearly as cool as the German posters, but what are ya gonna do?

I bought mine from emovieposter. The EMP results archive shows 8 sales for this poster, with prices between $23 and $135 depending on condition, and the usual volatility of auction results.
