I don't recall that, specifically, no.  Too long ago.  This was probably 1991 at the December Auctions that happened yearly at that time.

I might be re-posting this, but here goes:

Twenty-four sheet for A TIME TO LOVE AND A TIME TO DIE (1958).

This is not on our website.  Condition is quite good.  I thought I'd post to note the passing of JOHN GAVIN.  He was directed in this film by Douglas Sirk.  The film was based on a novel by the author of "All Quiet on the Western Front", the great pacifist book of the 20th Century.  A TIME TO LOVE AND A TIME TO DIE was Remarque's novel of World War II.

I can only imagine what this 24 sheet for Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde looked like in color, though the small description from the PB gives us some indication of the color scheme.  bed1

And to think that a theater's cost for this poster was only $2.40 USD!  faint2.gif

Three 24 sheet images from the pressbooks, from Lon Chaney Sr -Tod Browning flickers. These all must have looked incredible in color, done in stone lithography!  bed1

WHERE EAST IS EAST (1929), WEST OF ZANZIBAR (1928), and THE UNKNOWN (1927)

This is awesome.  One of the best 24 sheets of the sixties, in my opinion.  John Wayne.  Howard Hawks.

This is a photo from a recent emovieposter auction.  MovieArt Austin now has a great example of this poster.  Inquire posters@movieart.com

Hi Kirby, I really like the rhino giving a bit of "Hatari" to The Duke's overcrowded wagon!  I looked up more info on Wikipedia on the actress Elsa Martinelli and found her two husbands' names a little two end of the spectrum:

1. Count Franco Mancinelli di San Vito

2.  Willy Rizzo

For all I know maybe Elsa called her first husband Frankie Vito.  I'll have to watch some of her films as I don't readily recall her performances.  Do you remember her?

Okie

A 24 sheet from he 1956 version of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, with Anthony Quinn and Gina Lolllobrigida. It's mounted on a wall in makeup artist, Tom Savini's home. He has owned it for 30+ years and though partly obscured with other horror goodies, it gives an idea of the imagery and size, as the ends wrap around each of the side walls.

Couldnt find a copy that anyone, inc. HA, has sold, so wanted to share it here.

Thanks for sharing this poster, Jeff!  Is that an electrical outlet worked into the tiny Gina's dress? Gotta be adaptable with a great poster like that on the wall, eh?!  Okie

She was a showgirl?  Nah, that was Lola wasn't it? "Laugh Out Loud Laugh Out" perhaps?   Okie

Sinatra and I.

You and many others, then, would it be safe to say? (probably also notated in various Sinatra biographies, as well?)  thumbsup.gif

I think, grammatically, it should be "Sinatra and ME."
