It's not genre-specific so you get a nice overview of Japanese posters in general.

WoW  thanks a lot Armin. It looks like a great book to have. Did you get one? Are the photos in color? Prob with some of these books is that they have very poor quality photos.

Yes I have one. The printing quality is pretty good and all the pages with posters are in colour.

I often wonder what it takes to make one of these books costs etc., and how much you actually make...

As to how much you net after all your expenses, time and hassle... I'm guessing not much.  If you are looking to make some money on the side you'd probably do better flippin burgers at McDonalds. 

I doubt that is why collectors do it though

Yea, authors don't make much out of these sort of things UNLESS they have been specifically hired for a certain job from major film studios or copyright holders.
