We Want Your Posters & Memorabilia

With the word now getting out that we are holding a film poster and memorabilia sale, we have been inundated with enquiries.

We are already planning for our NEXT SALE ...and our inaugural one hasn't even been sent to print yet!

So without further ado - WE WANT YOUR FILM POSTERS & MEMORABILIA!
Single pieces or collections, nothing phases us. Unlike some auction houses who cherry pick what you have - we will take it all.

If you have a collection, whether it be one item or 1000, we are one of the few auction houses in the entire world who will travel to you and personally pick up your items (this is dependent on overall value and size). For instance, some of our staff returned from the USA two weeks ago after a four-day trip to pack and ship a collection. We are also one of the few auction houses in the world which has the space to store your items with full insurance right up to the day of the sale and beyond.

If you are planning on selling your posters or memorabilia, we would be delighted to be considered as your preferred auction house.

If you have any questions or fancy a chat, please call or email us.

Thanks!

Hi Vectis/Adam,

You being in the UK may prohibit many in the US from shipping entire collections overseas for you to auction. What is the best way for those far away (and who may want to sell) to deal with this issue? And how are customs fees for large collections dealt with? I would think that anyone shipping a large number of posters would have to declare their value, especially if insured, for X dollars, right?

Hi Jeff,

Depending on the size and overall value of the collection, we may be able to travel to the vendor, pack it and deliver it to our warehouses directly using our own vans. For instances where we have vendors from the US and other harder to reach countries, we may travel again, pack the collection and organise the shipping of it to the UK.

If a collection is too small or not valuable enough to make the trip worthwhile, it is the responsibility of the vendor to get it to us whichever way they see fit. We can help with this, but ultimately it is the vendor's responsibility. We always advise on insuring a collection if it is being delivered by a postal company.

Once a collection is in our building it then becomes our responsibility.

If a collection is coming into the UK for selling purposes through auction there should be no customs fees to pay as we have not bought the said item(s). As a business we pay rates and VAT, so everything we do is 100% above aboard. Please bear with us over the weekend - we shall get this information to you and your forum members on Monday as it is very important and we want all of you to be 100% confident with us.

Any other questions then please do ask.
