Here's another one that I can't find any hits on, for Krakatoa East of Java.  Looks like a French Canadian printing for, well, French Canada.  It says recorded in Sonorama (son is sound in French) in the same font as Cinerama.  Can't find much on Sonorama either, although I head there are places called "libraries" with stuff like "information". 

What's interesting on this is to see the "EN SONORAMA!" text in a basic Cinerama kind of imagery, with the letters in the boxes. More "borrowed or ripping off" of a design element?

And one of my favorite finds so far this year a Canadian one sheet for Burnt Evidence.  No the poster it is not on fire!

Size (typically 28 x 42) provenance (local find with others), art (I have a few of these), etc. I think its awesome.

I didnt know if there was also some kind of small marks (printer, etc) that also ID'd them in some way. I agree, it's cool.  The Burnt Evidence almost reminds me of a wood block print, and the stark color contrast is really neat, too.

Looking at imdb, it was re-released theatrically in France, in 1975. And I noticed that your poster also has no credits, which could also be a clue.

Here's one I am stoked to get in the mail today.  A Howard Chandler Christy 30x40 WW1 which I had backed and restored - my first foray into the whole exercise.  I got a good deal on the original which needed some work on the bottom corners and sides, some tape removal (see first pic).  The colors were so good overall going through it was a no-brainer.

not posters but my second passion (after beer) for about 6 months has been vintage turntables and vinyl.  NOTHING NEW just vintage hardware, awesome huge Ditton celestion speakers, a few early 80s turntables particularly my Sony PS X600 picture here... vintage LPs jazz, reggae, few hundreds 45s etc. Love it.

How fun! It's good to see you, Crazy Vick...it's been a while. It's also groovy to see your other passion. Posters and turntables. Very cool. Maybe we should start another thread about our other passions (my #2 is tiki culture and tiki bars! Ha!). (Of course, turntables comes after beer for you... Heck! We're all entitled to at least THREE passions, right?

I got OST of "Born Loser" recently but it sucks...
