Just curious... how did you chose your APF Avatar?

I'll start with mine...  I grew up obsessing with Nastassja Kinski in the 80s.  She is still in my all time top 5.  Beauty wise, that is.  Although she was extraordinary in Paris Texas and Tess.  Coppola's One From the Heart is also a movie I love.  The Tom Waits songs and the general look of the movie.

Mine is because of my love of the Universal Monster films, especially the Laemmle era.
It's more than a Hobby...

What I do not get is why people do not crop/resize their avatars so that you can actually see the whole thing?
