Most valuable posters from 2012 -2013
« on: March 21, 2014, 07:33:06 AM »
I have a chance to grab some posters from 2012-2013. Outside of The Dark Knight Rises, what are the more valuable posters from this time frame. Is there anything worth grabbing and stashing for 10 years?

For any movies that people will still remember fondly in 30 years time, grab those. But people here will say don't buy for investment. If you are getting them for free, keep the goodies as I mention and give the rest away to needy kids, like the scouts, rather than letting them get trashed, like someone here kindly suggested.

That's an impossible question to answer today.  Only time will tell.  What matters most is how people will remember a specific movie.  I have a lot of posters from the 80s, I got them for very little money and they now sell for 10x what I paid for on websites like Emovieposter.  It's a gamble.  Will Django, Skyfall and Dark Knight be remembered?  Probably.  What about Iron Man 3, Oz and Man of Steel.  Maybe not.  Ultimately, you have to follow your instincts and collect what you like.  You can't go wrong if you do.

I agree that its impossible to predict values in the future. I was just curious if anyone had any ideas on what is selling in today's market. These posters are coming at a bit of a higher cost compared to the first lot I received
