Well Bruce banned me for mocking his cheesetastic cartoon advertising but I managed to nab these Frenchies tonight anyway:

Mutiny On The Bounty (1962 France 1P)

Black Orpheus (1961rr France 1P)

Beautiful But Dangerous (1957 France 1P)

And I got a good deal on this 100 Rifles (Italy 1P) from Fantomas on Ebay today:

Great haul, Mel.  Bruce had some gems tonight.  Out of the 4 you got, I'm especially fond of "La Donna Pił Bella Del Mondo."  IMO, Lollobrigida was one of the top 5 hottest actresses of her time.

Not sure anyone has had more faps directed at them than Raquel Welch. Off the charts hot.

New year resolution: Check this thread more often.  And so far I'm not disappointed.  Nice ones, Freefall.  I need to get that To Catch a Thief at some point.  What year is it from?

Here are a few that have arrived over the last couple of days. Sorry for the pics these were taken from my phone.

And this one is my favorite out of the bunch along with the Daughter of Dr Jekyll. And thanks to my good friend Jason for tracking this one down for me. What a great guy.

It gets described as the 1961 re-release - however, I would love to know when the movie was first released in Italy and what the first-release poster looked like.

There are posters that are dated 1961 AND 1964, so it obviously was re-released in both those years. The posters are identical except for the date difference.

Here is a locandina that I believe is from 1955, but I have never seen a one- or two-panel from 1955:

I'm not positive, but I think this is the first release poster -- it's basically the same as the re-release posters, but with a greenish-grey background instead of blue and sporting a prominent VistaVision logo in red:

Wow, that is a beauty! I think this must be the original first-release 4-foglio style -the re-release 4-foglios have the same image but with a blue border.

Yeah, I don't know, I guess I've never really cared to see what other people have (and I assume people don't care about my stuff either, which is why I don't post.)  I have more than 2,000 posters in my want list, so I don't really need the extra tease.  But I will try it for a while, and if it becomes annoying, I will stay out of it again.

I am never jealous nor genuinely happy for anyone.  It's more about adding more shit to my list.
