The room was great fun for those lucky few of us who used it.  :)

Also a great place to blow off steam.    ;) 8)

Give it a go, Chris.

I left a comment on the blog about 3 years ago but it said it now awaits moderator approval

Has the blog been around 3 years?
With all of the bloggers on this forum, I am surprised no one has used it.

Now chat.  Chat was good.
Busy almost every night.

I have no power to do that.
You members do, though.
Speak up.
If there is a cost associated with it, I'm sure we can cover it.

I think Chat was a huge drain on traffic allowance, ergo expensive - specially when those porn pics started flowing...

There's lots that could be improved about the usability of this forum but then it would be run by geeks and would not be APF as we know it, happy as is fttb, geeks should not inherit the mirth...

One thing for sure it was a great way to discuss the subjects and persons that are so easy to make light of without the drama....

+1, Alex.

The live IM chat was fun, when a handful of us all got in there.

The main issue, at least for me, is that I wanted to see who was in it before entering.  If someone knows how to do that, let us know.  Holiday and I don't know shit about computers (actually, Holiday knows a bit more than I do) and both of us are extremely lazy (at least I am) and really don't care about it that much.  Like I said, the main thing for me is to see who's in it.  There is also a fee associated with it, but whatever, we'll cover.  So if you know how to fix it, let us know.

T,

Why is that an issue? You log in and hop into the chat.... if you don't know anyone or care to chat with those in the room at that point in time... you say "adios," give a  ;D  and leave... a polite bow out.. it's not a big deal, is it, really?  ;)
