I started my weekly e-mail club in early 1999, with 32 people, and it currently has over 8,000 members. From 1999 through around 2010 I would spend several hours a week creating interesting content for the club each week (reviews of recently held auctions, news on the latest scandals, information helpful to newer collectors, etc).

But over the past few years I have had to drastically cut down on this sort of content. This occurred for two reasons. For one, it took several hours a week additional, and with THREE sets of weekly auctions, I just didn't have it to spare anymore. But more important, all that typing was giving me carpel tunnel in my arms, and that was awful! For the same reason, I had to quit making up daily "birthday biographies" on Facebook around a year ago, and I really loved doing those, but my arms were killing me!

But I would like to try to get some of this kind of content back, so I am inviting you to submit any sort of articles to me for the weekly e-mails. All it has to be is relevant to movie poster collecting in some way, and interesting to read! I can't promise you that I will run everything that is sent to me, but I will certainly run anything I think makes sense,

A good example is the recently tribute to Deke Richards written by long time collector Bruce Henninger. I did not know Deke well personally, so I felt I was not the right person to write about him, but when he passed away, I did want it noted it the club, and I was quite happy to run the very fine tribute that was submitted to me.

So if you have thoughts about the hobby you would like to share, or want to write about any current events, feel free to e-mail it to me, and it may soon be read by over 8,000 movie poster collectors!

Mel could always be your expert on copyright infringement.   ;D
"Please step away from the keyboard.  In my unsolicited opinion, you paid too much for your poster," said APF Price Police Officer Thierry.

Bruce, I have a couple of articles on Bond Lobby Cards and UK FOH cards.  The Lobby article is 9000 words.

In fact, I just took a load of images of the Lobbies this weekend, not that you will be lacking in that environment.

Where do you want them sent?

Send them to "phillip at emovieposter dot com"

Thanks so much! I would love to run them.
