MovieArt Austin can now offer for sale an exemplary one-sheet for THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES (1939).  This example is a bit better than the very good one that Heritage recently auctioned.  This poster is paper backed and is in very fine plus condition.  We are offering it for $25,000.[/size]

I guess this could go on the 24 sheet page.  This is one that we sold twenty years ago, and a photo of it came to me to show how it was displayed.  I thought I would share it here.  Quite good!

And also how to display it...

I cannot see how it has been preserved, conserved or mounted.  But to be sure, wrapping it around a column like that is quite splendid.

Here is a fixer-upper.  There are some issues with the poster.  I will sell it for $95.00, no shipping no returns in the U.S.
Well worth restoring.   THE HARVEY GIRLS one-sheet (27x41), folded.  Condition is fair.  No returns on this one, please.

Here is a rare poster.  I don't believe this three sheet has ever been at auction, at least not in the U.S.  A stone litho from United Artists for one of the strangest film noirs in the canon.  THE STRANGE WOMAN (1945) d. EDGAR ULMER.  The poster is only in fair to good condition, but it is easily restored.  Some missing paper.  But this image of Hedy Lamarr is spooky.

It's on our website here:

That image of Lamarr is stunning Kirby!  bed1

And the shadow of the hanged man to the right of her face is super creepy, too.

Here's our description of the poster.

United Artists Original U.S. Three Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Edgar Ulmer film THE STRANGE WOMAN (1946) starring Hedy Lamarr, George Sanders, Louis Hayward, Gene Lockhart, Edith Evanson and Ray Teal. The film was directed by Edgar Ulmer, one of the true eccentrics among American directors. Ulmer liked the weird, and he liked a bit of mayhem. He directed DETOUR in 1945. THE STRANGE WOMAN involves a heartless and manipulative young girl who grows into a heartless and manipulative woman. The story takes place in Bangor, Maine in 1824. We follow the character of Jenny Hager (Lamarr) and it is a truly weird journey. Some of the films mystery and dread is reflected on this poster, which is actually quite an odd, antique-looking and lovely stone lithograph. We see the beautiful Lamarr, a candle and whip.  The film was based on a novel of the same name (1941) by Ben Ames Williams. The movie was produced in part by Hedy Lamarr, an interesting and brilliant woman, one of the most beautiful actresses in the history of the cinema. The film made a modest profit, but so little was cared about the copyright of the movie that it drifted into the public domain. Three sheets are large-format posters that are comprised of two separate sheets which are joined together to display as one poster. One sheet posters have been offered at auction, but in our memory we have not seen a large U.S. poster for the title. This poster was used in a theater and has survived in fair to good condition. We recommend linen-backing for this poster. The poster is somewhat delicate and should be handled with care. Ask us about poster restoration services. MovieArt Austin guarantees that this poster is an authentic U.S. three-sheet poster for this film. MovieArt Austin will sell no reproductions.

Happened to me as well when I tried to write "clap" in a post. A clap emoji appeared instead of the word.  Okie

Im sure it was in a preset group of emojis in the forum software. People have used it a lot here. I will call that smiley with a w*hip something else.

We love this Italian re-release, early sixties, for Hitchcock's STRANGERS ON A TRAIN.  Sinister, foreboding, moody.  With Hitch peering up at the two would-be murderers.  This poster is in average used, condition, folded.  Art by RODOLFO GASPARRI.
