For some reason this set of cards has a snipe in the title area.  Rare Bond material to be sure.

You find that with British f.o.h stills, sometimes they re-use the original stills, and even posters when the film is re-released, they are often altered by using snipes. This maybe a cast alteration, or in this case it may have listed Connery AS Bond and changed to IS because Connery wasn't the current Bond. like on a lot of YOLT posters... If you find an original and compare them you can soon find the alteration.

These are still considered First release, it's just they may have been used on 3 or 4 of the re-releases also...

Edit:-       Didn't spot the enlargement feature, it looks as thought they have changed the credits to "Starring Sean Connery" instead of "Sean Connery is James Bond"...

DRACULA r51 HALF SHEET
« Reply #8 on: July 09, 2013, 06:37:04 PM »
There is a corner piece missing from this poster.  But you won't see this every day.  I think this is the best Realart reissue paper on this title.  Nicely restored.

If anyone cares I can give a fuller description of the damage.  Except for that, it's really quite good.

MILDRED HARRIS CHAPLIN POLLY OF THE STORM COUNTRY three sheet
« Reply #18 on: August 01, 2013, 10:36:36 AM »
Amazing portrait of Mildred Harris Chaplin, nee Mildred Harris. Harris was born in Cheyenne Wyoming. She began her career in film in 1911 when she appeared in a western short, THE POST TELEGRAPHER, directed by Francis Ford and Thomas Ince. In the decade of the teens she appeared as a child performer in numerous films, and she was signed by the Oz Film Manufacturing Company to portray various characters in the early Oz movies. Mildred Harris transitioned to adult roles in the 1920s, but not before playing a 15 year old harem girl in D.W. Griffith's INTOLERANCE: LOVE'S STRUGGLE THROUGH THE AGES (1916.) Mildred Harris met Charles Chaplin in 1918, and, after believing that she had become pregnant by him, the couple married in October of 1918. The pregnancy was found to be a false alarm, but the the Chaplins did have a child in July of 1919. The child died three days after birth and by late 1919 the Chaplins had separated. The famous couple were divorced in 1920. Mildred Harris continued to have a career in film and in her lifetime she participated in over 100 different films. She was befriended by Cecil B. DeMille and even appeared in REAP THE WILD WIND, which starred, oddly, another woman who married Charles Chaplin, Paulette Goddard. Harris did not make the transition to sound well, as many silent players did not, even though she appeared in sound films. She appeared in a Three Stooges Short for Columbia in 1936, MOVIE MANIACS. She plays a high-toned actress and in a hilarious sequence the wonderful Curly Howard strikes a match on her foot. She is shown on this stone lithograph three sheet with actress Ruby Lafayette, who plays Harris' grandmother in POLLY OF THE STORM COUNTRY. Like many films of the era, this film is lost. Perhaps a print will be found one day, but until then we have this wonderful three sheet. The poster was bedeviled by fold separations and some paper loss and so we had it restored. The poster presents beautifully. This is a large three-sheet poster.
