Hi Redman!  You're right! Edie Murphy's Dolemite really had some great poster placement.  I really like the office scene!  Okie

hi yes it'll be original art but i called it a prop as the play was part of the film only, not real life, and so it was just created for the film if that makes sense. zero chance of finding it  ;D
funnily enough original art for the actual film sold yesterday

Got a heap of dodgy films from the 70s and 80s and 90s. There are posters galore in them. They must be the main prop in dodgy films.

Bikini Drive-In (1995)

^ I like seeing non movie posters too in the wild   thumbsup.gif

More film dodgyness - Hollywood Boulevard (1976)

Listening to the films commentary track they say the posters were Joe Dante's - the co-director of the film

Not sure how any other film screen grab will fit more posters in it than this!

Not sure I follow Redman, the Vertigo poster was brought in by the film director, put up on the wall for decoration for this film shoot. Vertigo up on the wall in a 1976 film doesn't mean it was screened in 1976, its just a prop in that film studio room (it's not a real room). That poster and the others look real to me, in part because of the folds, and joins (3 sheet)

^i meant that Vertigo was off the radar then, now everyone says its number 1 of all time but you could very rarely even see it then, so i couldn't imagine it being a copy if that makes sense. amazing to see it just flung on the wall like that ;D
