Don't think it is a 3 sheet Okie
This is the 3 sheet (taken from Bright Lights)

I think they blew up the 1 sheet which might explain the credits ???

I don't have screencaps but posters were also seen in

SUMMER OF "42 - the kids are waiting outside a theatre and 1-sheets for, if memory serves, The Corn Is Green and Manpower can be seen hanging on a wall.

FADE TO BLACK - Dennis Christopher as a twisted movie buff who works in a NSS type film exchange. Naturally posters are all over the place.

GET SHORTY - Gene Hackman's office has several altered 1-sheets displayed.

THE SEVEN YEAR ITCH - Right before the iconic skirt-blowing scene, Marilyn and Tom Ewell emerge from a theatre showing CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. I think there is a quick glimpse of the 1-sheet.

CINEMA PARADISO - posters for several Italian films are scene throughout the film. The projectionist's booth has a horizontal CASABLANCA poster on the wall.

PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM - Woody Allen's apartment is a virtual shrine to Humphrey Bogart with original and reissue 1-sheets, inserts, lobby cards, 22x28's covering the walls. The capper is the original 6-sheet for ACROSS THE PACIFIC hanging on his bedroom wall.

Any kind of material (posters or stills from other movie or studios, songs, even products seen a shot, -- like a can of Coke or something seen siting on a table or counter) -- have to be given credit in the end crawl. ;)

Hi Redman, I like that poster background, too.  What surprised me, though, is how "modern" and stunning Paulette Goddard is in that image. She looks like she could be walking down the street today.   Okie

Oh, yeah. And remember the film was made at the height of Bogiemania in the early 70's so these posters weren't easy to find. I would guess he has maybe, in today's dollars, close to 1/2 a million dollars in rare paper hanging on those walls? And that Across The Pacific 6-sheet to my knowledge has never been offered for sale or auction anywhere. And it looks like it's in incredible condition.

Half million dollars?
I see a Casablanca insert, but guess I am not seeing something else big that would be a six figure plus piece in these photos

I meant the total for everything on his walls. 1-sheets, lobbys, inserts, and that 6-sheet.

And then the question is: This is a set... and did they dress this set with real stuff? Or exact size repros, so that in case anything was manhandled or damaged, no worry or tears.

What about the OS?

Ok, a re-release one-sheet and an insert.  Still seems to be several hundred KKKK short. There aren't 400 one thousand dollar posters hanging on the walls.

The Smithsonian channel had a history of Tokyo documentary and during the segment on rebuilding after the great Kanto earthquake (where more than 60% of the population was left homeless), they talked about how Tokyo quickly adopted Western fashion and entertainment - showing this photo.

I know the movie is lost, and while the poster wouldn't have great value I've also never seen a copy before.
