Got to be right Jeff, Remember Karloff when playing the Monster had a dental bridge he removed to suck his cheeks in, to give a more corpse like appearance.
But Karloff removing a partial denture, tho, for teeth already lost or gone, is different that what Lyn was saying, namely that actors or actresses had teeth removed
specifically to give that more sharp cheek-boned appearance. Not saying some may not have done it, but the idea that all of ones back teeth were removed fort that purpose sounds rather extreme (and uncomfortable).
