The Globe Theater, on Broadway, NYC. This is kind of a curious image, imo. The alleged date of the photo is 1934. What is interesting is the large poster above the marquee, advertising the film,
Frankenstein The Killer, along with that great image of Karloff.
The theater to the right is also playing a film, but it is showing the 1930, Tod Browning movie,
Outside the Law, with Ed. G Robinson, so that didn't help to date the photo.
Is anyone here aware of Frankenstein ever being referred to by that title, even briefly, around this time?
