Nice work Steve - if only it were a more impressive film/poster - hope you didn't strain your eyes too much ;)

Being offered on ebay (hence the watermarks), but this is a cool photo showing a float, with a (locally made?) banner and posters for White Zombie and The Marriage Bond (both 1932), in Bundaberg, Queensland:

aw hell,  The Lowe's Paradise didn't upload properly so here it is again.  I wanted to show it at a HUGE size so you can see all the detail in this GREAT movie palace, they certainly don't make 'em like this anymore:

Not exactly a poster, but I thought this Kill Bill billboard was outrageous.

Steve's article link has a much better photo showing the rental cars as part of the 3D effect. And apparently the creative billboard was conjured up in New Zealand- probably by a bloke, who was a bit of a dag after too many Speights during an all black game.   ;D

If you watch the film Gorgo, the part where they drive through London with him on the back of a wagon, this cinema had the 59 Mummy up.
A few years earlier this...

I like the Tarantula Paul thumbup

I wonder:
- has the statue been moved since, more to the right?
- how did the people get on to the roundabout and where are they going (looks dangerous)
