Third Man Swedish poster.  Not a big fan of the way Trevor Howard looks, but other than that, I like it.

That one's got a Danish vibe to it -- you sure it's Swedish?

I agree, Matt.

That was the element that drew me to the poster initially.

And I think the color combination used by Stilling works great, too.

Greta Garbo Swedish film festival poster.  Also, a close-up of the artist's signature.  The two sales records for this poster I found listed the poster as 1) 1929 or 2) 1930s.  Anyone have evidence either way?  Is the evidence right in front of me?

Thanks, ladeda!  It's amazing how the artist working with so few colors made this image live. Okie

Just based on MGM running a type of festival for Garbo, I would take a guess and say this is from sometime in the 1930s. Only because I wonder if MGM would have put such a film festival together for her early MGM silents.

It's a beautiful poster, okie. No doubt about that. clap clap

Thanks for your expertise, Jeff!  I sure would have liked to have seen that festival.

The poster says that all her films belong to MGM.

So I don’t think there was an actual festival, just a poster advertising Garbo as their “property” so to speak.
