Nice, Mike!

Great pics and selections. What size is your Japanese style Wolverine?

I always thought this was tremendously cool art.

Very NICE, Mike.  Superb haul.

One thing, though.  I am not completely sure that your King Kong is original, but it's a great design for sure.

Thanks all for the kind words!

@Zorba - thumbup

@Jeff - That would be a subway (60x46).

@T - Which King Kong? :o The one between the Wolverine and Great Gatsby is a subway poster (ebay). The Kong vs T-Rex is the SS one sheet (EMP).

All are 100% legit, but I have strong doubts about the one in which he is fighting the T-Rexes.

I obtained that one from EMP back in January, so I hope it's legit.
I thought that one was the single-sided, special mail in poster.
Perhaps our resident King Kong guru (aka, Ted) might know more.
I would definitely like to know more about what gives you doubts. Thanks.

Maybe it is, but it's not a theatrical release.  I don't know about special orders.  But it's cool nonetheless.

Ah, gotchya. Correct, I do not believe it was a theatrical release poster and I knew that when purchasing. EMP has it listed (incorrectly?) as a teaser. It was more of a completist purchase for me.

Here is a thread post by Ted listing it as the special mail-in poster:

Ted posted it, so it has to be correct. ;)

Mike, is this your copy?

http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/16062645.html

Close. Mine was the one from 2 weeks earlier.
Yes, I fell into the 'boy I haven't seen this one. i gotta have it no matter what the condition. there can't possibly be another one in the next auction' trap. Live and learn.
Nothing a frame (or CD case :) ) couldn't cover.

Its a Cool looking Kong, Mike. And what's great too, is that as a special mail order poster, it was still printed in the 27x40 size and not something smaller, like could have been commercially produced.

I only collect theatrical posters, but after seeing yours, I might get myself one too.  I like King Kong, I like T-Rexes and I love Naomi.  You can't go wrong.

Agreed.  If it had been a smaller 24x36, I probably would have passed.

Agreed. Glad I could show you something new that you liked. :)
Probably my favorite is the quad with Kong and Ann (in the white dress) standing in the street. Unless, of course, I can find the artwork on my B1 on a US OS. That image is just awesome, imho.

PS: Mike, it's your thread.  I just wanted to show it to you.  I'll take it off if it bothers you.

Very nice! Now I've got to find that one.
I found a similar one with credits, but couldn't afford the shipping, unfortunately.
I only have a few bus shelters, but I would definitely like to add that one. thumbup
