I love the C scale. 90% of items are C8 or C9. C7 means crappy condition and C1-C6 are almost never used.

It makes almost everything sound better than it is.

It's kind of like gymnastics, where you are graded on a scale of 1 to 10, but almost everyone gets 9.5 or higher, and there are lots of perfect tens. Why not drop the 9, and change it so that 9.1 is 1, 9.2 is 2, etc?
