The Legend of Zelda
« on: February 03, 2013, 03:47:42 PM »
I'm still in the process of getting photos of my 1-sheets, so in the meantime I thought I'd post a few of my other collectibles.
I am a huge fan of The Legend of Zelda, so I thought I'd share these pics:

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks furuta (complete set - I also have another full set, minus conductor Link):

Skull Kid (Majora's Mask) statue from First4Figures:
https://www.first4figures.com/component/option,com_myphp/Itemid,3/product,46/

Dark Link (Ocarina of Time) exclusive statue from First4Figures (his eyes can glow red and the base lights up like water when turned on):
https://www.first4figures.com/component/option,com_myphp/Itemid,3/product,87/

Link and Midna (Twilight Princess) exclusive statue from First4Figures (Midna's 'hair' - the orange behind her helmet - glows orange when turned on):
https://www.first4figures.com/component/option,com_myphp/Itemid,3/product,82/

I also recently acquired the English version of Hyrule Historia (http://www.amazon.com/The-Legend-Zelda-Hyrule-Historia/dp/1616550414) and was able to attend the Symphony of the Goddesses on Oct 25th in Chicago (and of course purchased obligatory t-shirt and poster). Of course I still have my original Zelda cartridge from the NES, gold OOT cart from N64, gold Wiimote from SS pre-order, Nintendo Power Zelda promo disc, etc etc.

Unfortunately, I missed out on the Fierce Deity Link (Majora's Mask) statue from First4Figures, something I've always regretted (and am always on the lookout for):

I've seen Zelda mentioned a few other times on this forum, so if any of yous have any Zelda related collectibles you'd like to show off, I'd love to see 'em!!!

Thanks!  ;D
Those are my big pieces. Wish I had more.
I know I have a few posters, but those will need to be dug out as I catalog the rest of my paper. I will be sure to post them here when I find them.

I still have my old NES hooked up and about thirty games on hand including the gold cartridges of zelda and adventures of link!  I have not played in ages but they are in the guest room.

I remember, as a kid, watching the Super Mario Brothers Super Show on TV. It came on every day when I got home from school. It was part live action, part animation. The best part, for me, was on Fridays they had a Legend of Zelda cartoon. There were only a handful of them (I think the show lasted one or two seasons), but I had fond memories of the show. Anyway, a year or so ago, I watched one of them on Youtube to bring back old memories. Wow, the show (through the eyes of an adult) was nothing like what I remembered. The whole episode was basically Link trying to get into the Princess's pants. He kept trying to "smoochie smoochie" with her.

This cartoon, along with the Philips CD-i titles, do not exist in my version of reality. ;)

Thanks! Yeah, I <3 Wind Waker. I wish there was more out there for it. I think there's just a 2-capsule toy set, though I haven't searched extensively.
Did come across this cool digital poster for it, though.

To all the 8-bit fans who has a DS and a bit geeky...

You can buy a R4 cartridge... then download a NES romulator, install it on cartridge... and download NES games to play with these old games.
