Great images Rich...that House of Dracula sure is eye-catching...

I like the Time to Kill insert too (another Chandler adaptation)...I can't find a copy of the film anywhere...have you seen it?

Brasher Doubloon - stunning!

And Ari...you forgot a certain daybill ;)

There are standing orders in the posterho household that in event of emergency, the Pathes are the first thing to grab, then the stuff on the wall.

I don't have many, but it would be hard to pick which ones to save and which ones to leave.

I think being collectors it would be hard to pick just one unless like Jeannie we have a personal story behind how we got that individual poster .. As for mine .. I obviously prefer newer pieces over some of the older ones that have been posted .. So dont be offended that I place some of the most recent top picks among some of the classics ! :)

I gave this one a lot of thought. Paring down to one poster is an obscene request for any of us. I was originally going to go with One Million Years BC one-sheet, my first acquisition, but the more I thought about scarcity, importance, etc., I chose this one.
It's extremely hard to find and it has infamous
historical significance
thanks to that fargin' icehole,
Charles Manson...

The artwork (or at least the madcap characters across the lower portion of the poster) is by Frank Frazetta.  I am unsure who did the close up art of Sharon Tate and Ferdy Mayne.  I was considering asking Frazetta himself because there is very little info that I can find on this design.  It doesn't look quite like his work -- though I could be wrong.  Perhaps one of our more astute members might have some background to share.

Also, this is not my pic (I have my poster hermetically sealed in a fireproof tube at the mouth of a pneumatic tube that will send it rocketing out of the house in event of a fire).  Mine has the day-glow orange logo.  All in all it is a beautiful poster...

Brude... You just went up about a dozen notches in my book with that inspired pick!  I've been looking for a FVK style B forever...

Why, thank you Harry.  I've been waiting to see what piece of ephemera you were going to post as your favorite.  You are probably having as much difficulty as the rest of us paring down to ONE.

It's funny, if I had to choose one, I would go for the same Fearless Vampire Killers poster.  I LOVE this poster.  Now that it's been taken, I really don't know.  I guess my most prized poster is the one I'm trying to get right now.  The rest is in the past.

Very hard question.  I cannot give you one, but I can give you a group that the one would come out of.  Maybe I should put all of them in one tube, thereby saving all of them in case of a fire...........

Schan
Thanks.  You know what you did.

Yes, Schan.  That is a tough group to whittle down.
The color on Pi is insane.  Wow!!
