Universal Horror posters

The classic Universal Horror posters and lobby cards still seem to be achieving high prices but I wonder how long this will last. In recent years there have been a few collectors with deep pockets who have helped maintain prices but when their collections are complete or they just stop buying it is possible that prices may drop considerably. This has happened with other genres in the past. I would be interested in the opinions of people on this forum

Could happen.  I mentioned how Model T and Model A prices dropped big time in the late '80s when the people who remembered them got too old to work on them.

Less likely though since Universal Horror seems to have a widespread appeal.  Old collectors stop collecting, but this is the holy grail for new rich collectors.

the Frankensteins and Draculas will always be collected

I've waited 35+ years for the bottom to fall out of the Uni-Horror market.... eyeroll

I'm still waiting, and I now know it won't happen in my lifetime...

Edit:-  A very wise Man once said the 4 things that will always be popular are Monsters, Aliens, Spaceships, and Sexy Women....

I highly doubt there will be any significant price drop in my lifetime.
