Hey, Mel...I thought you were anti-gun?
Y'know, "the NRA is a bunch of terrorists..."

Hey Teddie, I'd like you to introduce you to a couple of my friends. In fact, I sent them to give you a personal greeting from me.   8)

Pshaw.
Way I'm armed, those actor-boys wouldn't even make it up the driveway.
Head shot.  Head shot.
Enda story.

google search led me to the 'Show Us Your Collection!' section when I was trying to find out how others framed & displayed their posters

I was getting ready to purchase a rolled RotLA after being away from the hobby for a little while and was scouring the interwebs for info on authentication and the seller. My search led me here and also to Mel's site (and also led me to discover that all of Dan R's info was gone  :'( ). My wife's not really into the whole poster thing, so it's great to have others like yourselves to chat with and learn from. thumbup

It's actually Return of the Living Aardvarks because aardvarks would never seek revenge.

I never saw this thread... so better late than never.

To be honest, I dont recall exactly how I found it, but I think I may have seen mention of the new forum on either NSF or MPF. From there, it was simple a hop, skip and a jump.

And in the last 3 years since the last posts, it's still a great question to all those who have joined since then.

I was with a hooker over at Madame Changs up in Pahrump. I went there to deliver some movie posters and stayed to play Parchesi for an afternoon. When the hooker left, instead of putting a hundred on the dresser, she left a flyer for APF. I wish she would have left the hundred instead......

Oh, I see, so instead of paying $100 for the shitty posters you brought Madame Changs, she told you to grow up and out of posters, and till then in the mean time, visit APF. Come back when you've grown up and then you can play some proper adult games?

I found APF while searching for movie poster discussion groups.  I read the open post portion for a few months that shows up online to the public until I couldn't stand it any longer.  You guys and gals made me want to participate, too! This is the only social media group of which I am a member.  I just wish this old dog would have known about APF sooner.  I read through all of this thread and it looks like the old code word was "penis" until Mirosae set everyone straight, um, that may not be the best word choice.  I miss her clever posts and it looks like she was gone before I even got here!  Okie

So do I, Okie.  I was kept completely in the dark about some issues she had.  Holiday and I have always had this "people are free to do whatever they want" attitude and we will not interfere.  Sometimes it's a mistake.

I'm sorry T, I didn't know there was perhaps some darker reason.  Okie

It was a long time ago, Okie.  Water under the bridge, as they say.  Sometimes ignorance is not bliss.

But you’re right, Rosa was fun and is missed.

Rosa is an occasional poster on another poster forum, but for the most part she has scaled way back.

I used to post on the old MPT forum, but when that dried up I began looking around and found this madhouse. I lurked for a long while until I was shamed into joining the fun. Simon was right; very knowledgably folks here, and very informative.
