Fun shot in Peyton Place.

Break time, or in between scenes, from Planet of the Apes (1968):

Jeff Bridges has been taking candids on all of his shoots since the early 80s.

How Brando became The Godfather...  Starting at 20:00.  Really funny.

Classic to hear how Brando got the part.

I'd love to see that "screen test" that Coppola shot at his house, too!

Another from the Del Toro digs, featuring a life size figure of Johnny Eck, from the the Tod Browning film, Freaks. I like the Pan figure to the right, too.

A cool candid, of Karloff & Lugosi, used on the cover of "Filmfax" magazine for the Oct/Nov 1992 issue. Looks like Bela dropped onto the Bride Of Frank set, between takes, and during a cigarette break for Boris.

Lugosi almost looks to be in the garb and makeup from Mark Of the Vampire, which was also released in 1935, but made by MGM.

I watched this again, over the holidays, but it has been years. I'd forgotten it was 'dialog-free' for the most part.  8)

Looking a little more grungy than Raquel:

4:00AM. An exhausted, tired and muddy Vivien Leigh is holding a small bouquet of flowers that had just been given to her by Arthur Arling, the camera operator for Gone With The Wind.

During the production Miss Leigh and Arling became close friends and she would often confide/complain to him regarding daily script changes, Gable's bad breath, and the never ending retakes. Arling's advice to her was, "Don't worry, when you get the Academy Award for this, it will all be worth it!"

Boy, was he right.  thumbsup.gif
