Part II of eMoviePoster.com's December Major Auction ends in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html! It contains 456 non-backed rolled posters and linenbacked oversized posters (and a lot of the posters are NOT from movies, despite our name).Normally, we try to somewhat segregate the posters in each part of our major auction (so that bidders can better focus on what interests them), but this Part II has a REALLY wide assortment of very different types of posters, and the only common denominator is that they are rare and desirable!
This is because we were consigned some amazing collections that join together to form a "super auction"! What are some of these?
1) An amazing collection of 85 Polish posters at
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/tag/nation%253APoland/sort/4/13.html. Almost all of these come from a single collector who recently passed away. He assembled them over many years, and you might get the idea they are somewhat "common" from seeing so many great ones, but most of these are ones we have only auctioned one, two or three times before, and a number of them we have NEVER auctioned before. And most of these are the "best of the best" (as is evident when you look them over).
2) A remarkable collection of 71 rare German posters at
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/tag/nation%253AGermany/13.html. These mostly came from an archive that acquired them decades ago, and most are from the 1920s and 1930s. German posters from before WWII have always been among the most rare posters there are (because of massive paper shortages there, when they literally recycled almost all old paper), and again, you might get the mistaken idea that are somewhat "common" from seeing so many great ones, but most of these are ones we have NEVER auctioned before, and many have really wonderful images (most advertise specific events).
3) There are smaller collections from Italy (40 at
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/tag/nation%253AItaly/sort/4/13.html), Japan (31 at
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/tag/nation%253AJapan/13.html), the United Kingdom (30 at
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/tag/nation%253AU.K./13.html), the Czech Republic (24 at
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/tag/nation%253ACzech%2520Republic/13.html), France (23 at
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/tag/nation%253AFrance/13.html), and smaller collections from Spain, Belgium, and 14 other countries!. Most of these posters are also extremely rare, many are "country of origin", and most have great images!
4) This Part II also contains 100 excellent U.S. posters, from all decades! There are 23 one-sheets, 21 three-sheets, 5 six-sheets, 17 inserts, 5 half-sheets, and many other sizes. They are of all types and genres, and the only thing they all have in common is that they are all rare and desirable!
5) Linenbacked posters! Part I contained all of the linenbacked posters that ship in regular tubes, and this Part II contains those that ship in tubes over 32 inches wide. These offer even more sensational values than the ones from Part I, because, being larger, these often cost $200 to $500 to linenback, and many of these are currently WAY under the cost of linenbacking alone (as of this writing, there are 39 under $100 each, and many of those are a tiny fraction of what the owner paid to have it backed)!
DO YOU LIKE TO GET REALLY GREAT "DEALS"? Then you will surely want to closely look over these 456 non-backed rolled posters and linenbacked oversized posters, because currently, with just a few HOURS left until these start to close, there are an astonishing EIGHTY THREE posters that are under just $25 each and ONE HUNDRED SIXTY TWO under just $50 each!
Remember that we have NO reserves or buyers premiums (so EVERY poster will really have a new owner when each auction ends, at exactly the final bid price, plus the actual cost of shipping), and we also have honest condition grading, and unenhanced super-sized images of every item (especially important when you are buying items that have been restored, and must trust the honesty of the auction house).
That is why it is SO important that not only DON'T we have "Buyer Beware" (which every other auction house falls back on, which means YOU are stuck when THEY make a mistake, intentional or accidentally), but what we DO have is that we stand behind everything we auction, with a lifetime guarantee on all we auction (something NO other auction offers), so you can bid and buy with confidence.
All of our 44,000+ past buyers from our 1,382,000+ completed auctions over the past 27 years (and over 75 million dollars in sales) KNOW that we always do exactly what we say we will, whether you spend five dollars or five thousand dollars!
Please go to the above link right away and I think you will find the current bid prices on these great (and rare) posters of every kind irresistible. There are almost surely going to be great buys made, but YOU can't get them if you aren't bidding! Best of luck to those of you who bid on these Part II items closing in a few hours.
