Here is the 'Did You Know' faq/page on EMP on how to create a Want List.

http://www.emovieposter.com/tips_archive.php?id=1106&searchterms=want list

It really is the bee's knees. Every time a title(s) in my Want List comes up for auction, I get an email from EMP with a link to that listing.

I tried to create a want list for photos of women in the bath but I can't seem to create that. Can you help?

It might be quite a wait for the next one!

Actually, we WERE consigned a second "Joan Blondell in the bath" along with the above one, and it will be in the next auction. After that, there likely won't be another one for a LONG time.
We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.
We have auctioned more movie paper for more money (in real sales) than any auction in the world.
We have the longest continuously running auctions of any auction, with over 1,914,280 to date from over 3,192 consignors.

Everyone can now view a complete Preview Gallery at http://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016halloween/partiii/, which shows all of the 326 linenbacked and oversized posters, posters that ship in "oversized" flat packages, pressbooks, incredible stills, and more in Part III of our 17th Annual Halloween Auction that will be auctioned 10/23 to 10/30!

If you haven't already, also go to http://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016halloween/partii/ which shows all of the 505 rolled and folded posters of all kinds in Part II of our 17th Annual Halloween Auction that will be auctioned 10/20 to 10/27!

If you haven't already, also go to http://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016halloween/parti/, which shows all of the 254 great horror/sci-fi lobby cards (including a few complete and incomplete sets) in Part I of our 17th Annual Halloween Auction that will be auctioned 10/18 to 10/25

Each gallery includes all the lot numbers, so you can see them in the exact order in which they will be auctioned! Note that not only do we provide you with the exact condition grade that will be on the auction, but you can also click on any image and see the "super-sized" version, so that you can really know the exact condition of each item long in advance of the auction, so you can better prepare your bidding strategy.

Share this post with anyone who loves great horror/sci-fi, whether they collect movie paper or not! Spread the word!

One thing we can all agree on this during this highly divisive political season is that what this world needs is a good one dollar one-sheet (NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium" found on another auction site). Well, we have them in our 999 folded one-sheet auctions at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html and they start to close in just a few hours!

Think I am exaggerating? We have 260 one dollar one-sheets (and 593 at just $1 to $5). And the 406 that are over just $5 (which includes some really nice ones!) are mostly WAY under where the same or similar posters have sold for in the past. At these prices they cost less than wrapping paper (so you could get a bunch of these and use them that way, but to us that would be a sin).

But you could buy a bunch and start a collection, or you could slap them on eBay at $9.99 each and make a bundle, or you could sell them from your website (we can provide buyers with unwatermarked giant images of their purchases, so that is super easy to do with virtually NO work on your part). So why not go to the above link right now and start "stealing" some fun movie posters?

Plus, no matter how many of these you buy today, the U.S. shipping is just $12, even if you get 100 of them (actual cost anywhere else). And using our unique "Pay and Hold" system, you can get all you want over a three week period (six weeks outside the U.S.) and you pay just $12 U.S. shipping for everything as long as it fits in one package safely.

And you can now pay for your purchases entirely within our recently-added "Checkout 2.0", which even works with "Pay and Hold" orders, which saves you a fortune on shipping! So why not start looking over these 999 folded one-sheets right now, and start finding that perfect poster to display in your home, one that may well cost you less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and will surely give you many years of viewing pleasure?

Part I of our 17th Annual Halloween Auction is now "live" at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html and the bidding has just begun on all of the 254 great horror/sci-fi lobby cards. There has likely never been so many great cards offered for sale at one time!

You can also view complete Preview Galleries of both Parts II and III as well! Go to http://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016halloween/partii/ to see all of the 505 rolled and folded posters of all kinds in Part II that will be auctioned 10/20 to 10/27 and also go to http://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016halloween/partiii/ to see all of the 326 linenbacked and oversized posters, posters that ship in "oversized" flat packages, pressbooks, incredible stills, and more that will be auctioned 10/23 to 10/30!

You know how EVERY major auction (except eMoviePoster.com!) hits you with massive "buyers premiums" after every purchase? Well, not only don't we have ANY buyers premiums, but in this special Halloween auction we also give everyone who buys just five items (from all three parts combined) a FREE giant horror/sci-fi refrigerator magnet (go to http://emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016halloween/magnets/20161018_horror_magnets.html for full details)!

There has NEVER been a better time to be a horror/sci-fi movie paper collector! Visit the above links and start feasting your eyes on all that is offered. But we have to warn you that you may get "sensory" overload from viewing so much great horror/sci-fi movie paper material at once, and you may get a headache from having to decide which items you most want and want to bid on!

If you have ANY interest in vintage lobby cards, then you are going to LOVE our current auctions of 999 complete and incomplete lobby card sets (5,756 cards in all) closing in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html, because they represent a really great lobby card buying opportunity!

Think I am exaggerating? Think again, because as of this writing, with just hours to go, there are 299 of these sets at $1 or with no bid and ONE HALF at just $1 to $5! Since all of these have at least 2 cards, and OVER half of them are complete sets of 8 or more, this means many are well under just a DOLLAR per card and many are just PENNIES per card.

And on all the sets (not just the lowest priced ones), almost ALL of them are FAR under where the same or similar sets have sold for in the past (and in some cases, you will likely be able to buy a complete or incomplete set for little more than what most dealers would charge for the title card or one of the better scenes)!

Remember that on OUR auctions there are NO buyers premiums, so $1 is REALLY $1, and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium", and you pay just $12 U.S. shipping no matter how many of these you get, even if you get 100 sets! If you focus on the least expensive cards, you may be able to buy a giant box of hundreds of cards, and have it cost just $100 or so, INCLUDING U.S. shipping!

If you are a fan of older lobby cards, know that well over half of these are from the 1950s and earlier, and many of these older cards offer the absolute best values, even though many of these titles are extremely rare!

Are you only interested (or mostly interested) in a specific genre, star, studio, or decade? Don't forget to use our "Search Filters" which are located to the left of our auction galleries.

For example, in the case of these lobby card auctions, they include 139 horror/sci-fi sets (including some excellent titles), and you can see just those by clicking on the Search Filter that says "horror/sci-fi", and the same is true for all the other filters, like "cowboy western", "crime", "Walt Disney", "John Wayne", "James Bond", or for the 72 lobby card sets that are solely from the 1930s, and on and on!

Using these Search Filters well makes your time spent in our galleries FAR more productive, and once you get used to them, you won't know how you ever lived without them (and there is no other auction site that has similar Search Filters that work like ours do!).

But there is no way you can look through 999 lobby card sets in just a short while, so why not start looking these over soon, and then make sure you give yourself plenty of time to place your bids, so YOU can be getting some the great deals that surely will be made when these close in a few hours?

Is trying to decide what to bid on in Part I of our our special 17th Annual Halloween Auction which closes in just a few HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html getting you all choked up?

It contains a truly amazing selection of 254 lobby cards (mostly title cards and scenes, with a few complete and incomplete sets, ranging from top 1930s and 1940s titles through top 1950s horror/sci-fi titles).

I certainly hope that you look over all of the cards in this very special auction, and consider purchasing at least a few of them, because there may well be the chance for fantastic bargains. How great are the bargains? Amazingly, with just hours to go on the items in Part I, there are still 51 of them at just $1 to $10 and 96 that are under $20, and there are very few cards that don't show a good image of the monsters!

It is not just the least expensive items that offer incredible values! Many of the items in all of the parts of this special auction are ultra rare, and some may be "one-of-a-kind". Yet even on many of those, the prices are FAR under where I would expect them to be. Now obviously, some or a lot of those will get more bidding before the end, but you can never tell, so certainly you have nothing to lose (except a little of your time) by placing some bids on items at prices you would LOVE to pay!

But you can't do that unless you bid, and it takes a while to go through this many high quality items, so why not go right now to http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html (for today's Part I, which closes in just a few hours), or to http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html (for Thursday's Part II), or to http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html (for Sunday's Part III) and look at the many bargains and joke low prices in this 17th Annual Halloween Auction?

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.

LIke horror/sci-fi posters, but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for them? Then Part II of our special 17th Annual Halloween Auction closing in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html is perfect for you!

How great are the bargains? Amazingly, with just hours to go on the 505 items in Part II, there are still 102 of them at just $1 to $5, 165 that are $10 or under and 275 that are under $20, so all of these are within the range of every collector, no matter what your budget!

Please remember that in OUR auctions there are NO buyers premiums whatsoever, so $1 is REALLY $1, and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium", which turns many "good deals" into terrible ones. And in our auctions there are NO reserves either, so many items REALLY sell for $1 or just a few dollars (as our 41,000+ past buyers can attest to!).

I certainly hope that you look over all of the items in Part II, and consider purchasing at least a few of them, because there may well be the chance for fantastic bargains. $20 doesn't buy much these days, but in OUR Halloween auction closing in hours, it may buy a handful of fun horror/sci-fi posters!

It is not just the least expensive items that offer incredible values! Many of the top items in today's Part II are ultra rare, and some may be "one-of-a-kind". Yet even on many of those, the prices are FAR under where I would expect them to be. Now obviously, some or a lot of those will get more bidding before they end, but you can never tell, so certainly you have nothing to lose (except a little of your time) by placing some bids on items at prices you would LOVE to pay!

But you can't get great buys unless you bid, and it takes a while to go through this many items, so why not go right now to http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html look at the many bargains and joke low prices in this Part II of our 17th Annual Halloween Auction closing in hours?

Only Part III of our Halloween auction remains (closing Sunday at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html, beginning at 3 PM CST, NOT 7 PM like our Tuesday and Thursday auctions), but one quick look at these 326 linenbacked and oversized posters, pressbooks, incredible stills, and more will show you we saved many of the best items for last!

I promise you that you will quickly find lots and lots of super rare items, many of which you would likely love to include in your collection! Because there are so many different types of items in this part, you will want to be sure to use the "Search Filters" which are located to the left of our auction galleries.

For example, in the case of these Halloween auctions, they include 27 horror/sci-fi pressbooks (including some excellent titles), and you can see just those by clicking on the Search Filter that says "pressbook", and the same is true for all the other filters, like "three-sheet", "Boris Karloff", "signed", "France", "Forty by Sixty", "linen" (for the 79 linenbacked posters of all sizes) or for the 31 items that are solely from the "1930s", and on and on!

Using these Search Filters well makes your time spent in our galleries FAR more productive, and once you get used to them, you won't know how you ever lived without them (and there is no other auction site that has similar Search Filters that work like ours do!).

What distinguishes OUR major auctions from other major auctions? Only the lack of any reserves or buyers premiums, honest condition grading, and unenhanced super-sized images! You will find an amazing "supermarket" selection of great horror/sci-fi movie paper from all years, genres, and countries!

I certainly hope that you look over all of these items closing Sunday, and consider purchasing at least a few of them, because there may well be the chance for fantastic bargains. Right now, with two days to go, there are 124 items at just $1 to $5 and it is not just the least expensive items that offer incredible values!

Even on the ones that are currently the highest priced, the prices are FAR under where I would expect them to be. Now obviously, some or a lot of those will get more bidding before they end in two days, but you can never tell, so certainly you have nothing to lose (except a little of your time) by placing some bids on these items at prices you would LOVE to pay!

But you can't do that unless you bid, and it takes a while to go through this many varied items, so why not go right now to http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html and look at the many wonderful items that are being auctioned in this final part of our 17th Annual Halloween Auction?

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.

Using these Search Filters well makes your time spent in our galleries FAR more productive, and once you get used to them, you won't know how you ever lived without them (and there is no other auction site that has similar Search Filters that work like ours do!). In particular, this auction contains a truly sensational selection of a dozen vintage single stills (including amazing ones from Frankenstein, Freaks, London After Midnight and more), ones that would be the very best in our "regular" auctions of single stills!

While this remarkable auction DOES contain many expensive and ultra-rare items, there are also many for every budget (currently 41 are just $1 to $5, and 75 are $10 or under). And at every price level there are many items that are currently far under where the same or similar items have sold for in the past. If there are going to be great buys, why shouldn't YOU get them? But you will need time to view this many great varied items, so please visit the above link soon!

Note that the above 2001 poster is from when this classic movie premiered in Cinerama at the Casino Theatre in London, England on May 1, 1968 (as part of its Cinerama roadshow engagement). It played at this theater for 47 weeks (from May 1, 1968 to March 25, 1969!). It then played at other English theaters, and new quads were printed that looked similar, but they do not have the printing for this specific premiere theater in the lower right corner. We have seen an example of that later poster at another auction, and it had a snipe over the top tagline that they removed, and put loose with the poster. BUT THIS IS THE ONLY EXAMPLE OF THIS CINERAMA PREMIERE BRITISH QUAD WE HAVE EVER SEEN!
We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.

Are you someone who doesn't like to bid on linenbacked one-sheets? Well we have the auction for you!

EVERY single one of the 1,238 one-sheets (1,132 folded one-sheets and 106 unfolded one-sheets) from the Dominique Besson Collection that will be auctioned in our December Major Auction are NOT backed or restored!

Follow the below link to a preview gallery of ALL those one-sheets. Note that these are NOT in the order in which they will be auctioned (they are in alphabetical order, with "number" titles first), and there may be a few of these (the least important) which will not be in the auction, but we wanted to give you this "early" preview of these posters so you could start planning your bidding strategy long in advance of the auction (the auction starts on December 1st).

http://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016dec/besson/

WE HAVE SLIGHTLY CHANGED THE DATES OF THIS AUCTION AND THE FINAL CONSIGNMENT DEADLINE! Thanks to our being consigned the incredible Dominique Besson folded one-sheet collection (all of which will be auctioned in Part I; see our ad below), we have made a slight adjustment to our December Major Auction. It now starts 12/1 and runs through 12/15 (in four parts).

THAT GIVES YOU A FEW MORE DAYS TO CONSIGN YOUR QUALITY MOVIE PAPER TO IT! Email philllip@emovieposter.com to consign today! Any consignments for this special auction must now be on their way to us no later than Friday, November 4th (unless you have something exceptional, and then it could be a little later!).

Included in the December Major Auction is the Dominique Besson folded one-sheet collection (all of which will be auctioned in Part I; see our ad below). Any of you CAN consign one-sheets to be added to that section, as long as we don't have them already (and of course as long as they are better quality desirable posters that rarely are offered at auction).

And of course, we also want every other sort of consignment of movie paper of ALL types (U.S. and non-U.S.), and this major auction will include a special section of "better quality" lobby cards, so it is fine to send those as well, but of course as long as they are better quality desirable lobby cards that rarely are offered at auction.

If you miss consigning to this auction (which may well be our best of the year!), then you will have to wait until next April or May, so don't delay, and consign today!

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.

You might ask yourself "Why are HALF of eMoviePoster.com's 999 folded one-sheets closing in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html still at just $1, $2 or $3 with hours to go?"

The answer might lie in its taking place right after our Halloween auction, or that people are distracted by the Presidential election, but a far BETTER question to ask yourself is "Why am I not bidding on these super-low priced posters (which include many rarities from all years and genres?"!

Remember that when we say "$1", we really mean "$1" and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium" found on another auction site).

Want to buy at a great auction? Our December Major Auction is one major auction where every item REALLY sells to the highest bidder, because every item REALLY starts at $1 with no reserve (and we DON’T have any buyers premiums either)! You’ll find these great five posters plus over 1,500 others up for auction (in 4 parts, starting 12/1). Best of all, we honestly describe each item (as our buyers know)!

Come to our website when the first part starts on December 1st. It is too late to consign to this auction, but if YOU have movie paper you are willing to consign to future auctions, please go to our website and contact us. We charge the lowest rates at every price level, and we get the highest prices overall (when you compare like items).

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.

You can get lots of BIG posters for TINY prices in our excellent selection of 999 three-sheets, six-sheets, Italian 1 and 2 panels and Argentinean posters that closes in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html

Do you think I might be exaggerating about how low the prices are? There are an inconceivable 571 of them at $1 (196 with no bid at all, so $1 can win those!), and 680 at $1 to $5 each. And a very high percentage of the 319 that are over just $5 each are WAY under where the same or similar posters have sold for in the past (and they include many very rare and desirable posters, ones that are almost never offered for sale or at auction).

And unlike many auctions, there are no tricks or fine print to these auctions, that turn "steals" into not-so-good deals. First and foremost, there are no massive $19 "minimum buyers premiums" (in fact, there are no buyers premiums at all) so "$1" is really $1.

And all buyers pay the actual cost of shipping your purchases (plus $3 for packing material), but U.S. buyers can wait a total of three weeks before we send all their purchases from that time in as few packages as possible (and non-U.S. buyers can wait a total of six weeks).

If you have never before bought these sizes of posters (or only bought a few in the past), you could NEVER pick a better time to start collecting these sizes more seriously, because so many of these posters are offered at such low, low prices with just hours to go.

But if you plan on placing several bids, be sure to go to the above link soon, because it takes a while to look over this many widely varied posters!

You may be thinking, "Why does eMoviePoster.com have 777 single scene lobby cards closing on SUNDAY at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html when they normally always are on THURSDAY?" but a more important question is "Why are YOU not bidding on these, when HALF of them are at $1 or have no bid?"!

The reason we have this special Sunday lobby card auction (of scene cards only) is that we have been consigned so many cards that we needed to hold this "extra" auction to get somewhat caught up on them! This means you have a golden opportunity to get lots and lots of lobbies at low, low, prices, and how often does that happen?

And unlike many auctions, there are no tricks or fine print to these auctions, that turn "steals" into not-so-good deals. First and foremost, there are no massive $19 "minimum buyers premiums" (in fact, there are no buyers premiums at all) so "$1" is really $1.

If you like lobby cards then you will LOVE our 777 single scene lobby cards closing in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html!

Why? First and foremost because, even though there is a great selection (covering all years and genres) there are still ONE THIRD of them at $1, $2, or $3 (there are no buyers premiums, especially the $19 "minimum buyers premiums", so "$1" is really $1)!

And almost all of the rest of the cards at higher prices are mostly WAY under where the same or similar cards have sold for in the past (and we are the ONLY major auction that shows you supersized images of the front AND back of every card)!

So why not start looking over these 777 single scene lobby cards right now, and start finding that perfect lobby card (or cards) to display in your home (and they fit in any store bought 11x14 frame), but hurry, because in just a few hours they will be going, going, GONE (and all will REALLY sell, because these auctions REALLY start at $1, with no reserves at all)!

There are some collectors who mostly (or only) buy movie posters from their own country, and if you are one of those collectors I say, PLEASE consider also purchasing posters from other countries, because they often have great completely different images from the posters from your country, PLUS so MANY of them are VERY affordable!

Think I am exaggerating? Consider the 999 non-U.S. posters from 31 different countries in our current auctions closing in HOURS at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html. There are currently 71 posters with no bid at all (so $1 can take those), 394 at $1 or with no bid, and 541 at just $1 to $5! And we have no "buyers premiums", so "$1" is REALLY $1, and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium".

Just about any dealer would charge $20, $30 or more for these same posters, and even reproductions of these would surely cost $10 or so! And it is not just the least expensive posters closing in hours that represent the best deals.

The 458 that are over just $5 are mostly WAY under where the same or similar posters have sold for in the past and while many are sure to get more bids, some won't, and there will surely be a LOT of "deals" just as there always are in our honest no reserve auctions, where every item really starts at $1, and really sells to the highest bidder.

But please, if you can't look at these non-U.S. posters right now, then don't put off visiting the above link for too long, because it takes a while to look over this many items, and in just a few hours they will all be going, going, GONE!

I want to tell you about a great buying opportunity on our auctions closing today, where you can practically "steal" many posters, because we have 461 "special" rolled posters (movie & non-movie!) and 538 rolled one-sheets closing in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html, and the current bid prices on many are so low that you will have trouble believing them!

Do YOU have an empty space on your walls just crying out to be filled by some fun poster that you simply tack up to the wall (just like you did in college or in your first apartment)? Or are you thinking that it would be great to start collect something that is "affordable" and yet offers tons of viewing pleasure, but that posters cost too much these days to do that, and that even a cheap repro has to cost $9.99 or more?

Well think again, because 147 of these one-sheets and "special" posters currently have NO BID at all with hours to go (so $1 can take those), and a WHOPPING 404 of them are still at just $1 each or have no bid, and 596 are at just $1 to $5! And our $1 is REALLY "$1", and NOT "$1, plus $19 buyers premium", as seen in some other auctions.

What are you waiting for? A gold-plated invitation? Go to the above link NOW and find some great posters for your walls that will cost you next-to-nothing, and will give you endless viewing pleasure!

Note that the roughly half of this auction that contains special posters are some of the absolute most "fun" auctions we do! There is a wonderful variety of all sorts of "odd" posters (some connected to movies, but not standard movie posters, and many that have no connection to movies at all). There are also some repro or commercial posters of great movie titles, and you can likely buy one from a classic title for very little money!

And the rolled one-sheets contains lots of the best titles of the past 30 years! In all, there are so many unusual types of posters that we HIGHLY recommend that all of you make an effort to look at all of these posters in our gallery format at the above link (and you are sure to enjoy doing so, even if you end up not buying any, and solely "window shop")!

And you can now pay for your purchases entirely within our "Checkout 2.0", which even works with "Pay and Hold" orders, which saves you a fortune on shipping! But please, if you can't look at these really fun posters right now, then don't put off visiting the above link for too long, because it takes a while to look over this many items, and in just a few hours they will all be going, going, GONE!

Our December Major Auction is just around the corner, with Part I beginning on December 1st. If you have been following our promos about this auction, then you know just how amazing it is! If not, go here http://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign_major#december to see many posters in the auction, and to read more about it.

We know that you have lots and lots of places where you can spend your money, and we do all we can to treat you the best we possibly can on every single transaction, so that you will want to choose us first over any other options! And of course we have no buyers premiums, and we have the best customer service of any auction, and we always show you unenhanced super-size images of every item, but you already know all that. We just want to make sure that you are aware of just how great this upcoming auction is, so that you can start saving your money NOW, but you are likely to find so many great items in this auction that you will have trouble deciding which ones to bid on!

And remember that this auction contains the truly incredible Dominique Besson one-sheet collection (see a preview gallery of every one of these one-sheets here: http://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016dec/besson/). Not only does this collection include many incredibly rare and desirable posters, but it also includes many affordable posters as well. Ours is one auction without a "For Millionaires Only" sign on the door!

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.
