Thanks much! I have an insane amount of man (and woman) hours tied up in it, and the cost to me is surely in the hundreds of thousands, and it is completely free.

I have often considered charging a nominal amount for non-bidders, but for now it is still free for all.

It's online and "live" and you can place your bids! Our all-Star Wars Auction is open at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/1/15.html

Remember that we are the only major auction in the entire world that has NO buyers premiums, honest condition descriptions of every item, and unenhanced supersized images of every item we auction!

Every one of these 443 items (which includes ONLY Star Wars movie posters, action figures and other related items) started at $1 with no reserve, and unlike the vast majority of auctions, every item REALLY will sell to the highest bidder!

Please do us a favor! If you find ANY mistake in any of these auctions, no matter how trivial, please send an email to "matt@emovieposter.com" and we will get them corrected on Monday.

And these auctions are lots of fun to look through, even if you are only "window shopping", because you likely will see many items you have not seen before!

And PLEASE share this post on your Facebook page or in any online forum where it makes sense, so that lots of Star Wars fans will learn about this wonderful set of auctions (and if you haven't done so already, please click "Like" on our FB page at https://www.facebook.com/emovieposter/)

Who are the major auctions that provide dishonest condition description reports?

This would be good to know, so that potential bidders don't get burned.

That is a great question for the members here.

Did you ever buy an item (or items) from any auction that was NOT honestly described, and how did they respond when you told them about it?

I think it would be a good question, too, for members.  thumbsup.gif

And because you made the comment first, is why I asked you first.

Yes.

There's an old saying in Tennessee... "fool me - you can't get fooled again."

For the record, eMovie's descriptions and photos are the most accurate that I've seen.

We recently received this email from a consignor:

"Kudos to whichever of youse historians was able to correctly identify the three cowboys in my lobby card from the Covered Wagon I consigned! Amazing!

By the way, your website is a wealth of educational information as well as a place where movie memorabilia has instant liquidity.  I used to sell my stuff at maybe 10 shows a year here on the west coast from Portland to LA, but those days are long gone.

I appreciate what you guys do!"

If YOU have movie paper of any sort (or posters of any kind, movie or non-movie) isn't it time YOU considered sending your first consignment to eMoviePoster.com? If you are like the vast majority of our consignors, it may well be the first of many consignments!

This is going to be one of our very closest Daily "Face/Offs" ever! How do you make YOUR choice known? Go to our Home Page, http://www.emovieposter.com

Look in the top left corner where you will see the below Hepburn/Taylor image, and select the choice you like better and click "Vote" by your choice.

You'll instantly see the current results! It doesn't matter how you choose to place your vote, so use whatever criteria you prefer. After all, this is just for fun!

Remember, the Presidential primaries may be rigged, and your vote may not count there, but HERE, everyone's vote counts equally.

And may the best 1950s superstar win!

CLASSY VS TRASHY? When you look at the current voting totals in our current Daily "Face/Off" (which runs over the weekend, because we are closed Saturday and Sunday), you will see that it is painfully obvious that movie poster collectors greatly prefer "bad" girls to "good" girls (just as they did yesterday with Kim Novak vs Debbie Reynolds)!

How do you make YOUR choice known? Go to our Home Page, http://www.emovieposter.com and look in the top left corner where you will see the below Kelly/Monroe image, and select the choice you like better and click "Vote" by your choice.

Got some extra time on your hands? Why not check out our current sets of auctions closing this Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday (2,997 auctions in all). Each set is very different from the others, but all are excellent (and I feel that you will surely agree, once you look over what is in them)!

The Tuesday auctions (at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html) have a really first rate selection of 999 single lobby cards (covering all years and genres with many great cards, with 434 title cards at the end) and many are incredibly rare. If you like lobby cards in the slightest, you will LOVE this set of auctions, and you may have a "problem" in finding too much to interest you!

The Thursday auctions (at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/14.html) have 999 non-U.S. posters, lobby cards & stills (from 12 different countries). This includes a really first rate selection of Australian daybills and one-sheets, as well as rare German posters, plus much, much more!

The Sunday auctions (at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html) have 500 lots of vintage 8" x 10" stills AND 499 presskits (altogether containing 2 to 45 stills per lot with 9,104 stills in all!) and there are LOTS of great titles included!

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.
We have auctioned more movie paper for more money (in real sales) than any auction in the world.
We have the longest continuously running auctions of any auction, with over 1,914,280 to date from over 3,192 consignors.

Our amazing auctions of 999 single lobby cards (covering all years and genres with many great cards, with 434 title cards at the end!)  wraps up in hours at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html

If you like great lobby cards at bargain prices, and you like the condition descriptions to be accurate, and you like to see giant unenhanced scans of the fronts AND backs of every card (we are the ONLY major auction anywhere that shows the backs of any cards and we show the backs of EVERY card!), and you like auctions with no deceptive "buyers premiums", and you like auctions that REALLY all start at one dollar and REALLY have no reserve at all, and you like paying the actual cost of shipping or under on all you purchase, and you like your purchases being sent super well wrapped, then THESE are the auctions for you!

But please go to the above link soon, because it takes a while to look over this many fine lobby cards, and in just a few hours they will all be sold, and there WILL be many great buys made on quality lobby cards, and there will likely be some real "steals"! Think I'm kidding? With around 13 hours to go until these start closing (as of this writing) there are 151 of these at $1, 306 at just $1 to $3 and 417 at $5 or under! And on the vast majority of the other 582 cards (even the highest priced ones), there are lots and lots of them that are a fraction of the "regular" retail price you might see these at any website or collectibles show (and there are many ultra-rare ones you may not see offered again for many years).

Are you only interested (or mostly interested) in a specific genre, star, studio, or decade? Don't forget to use our "Search Filters" which are located to the left of our auction galleries. For example, in the case of these lobby card auctions, they include 271 cowboy lobby cards, and you can see just those by clicking on the Search Filter that says "cowboy western", which will take you to this link: http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/tag/genre%253Acowboy%2520western/13.html and then you will just see those 271 cards, in our gallery format! You can do the same thing for the 60 horror/sci-fi cards, the 62 film noir cards, the 49 serial cards, and on and on! Using these Search Filters well makes your time spent in our galleries FAR more productive, and once you get used to them, you won't know how you ever lived without them (and there is no other auction site that has similar Search Filters that work like ours do!).

But please, if you can't look at these cards right now, then don't put off visiting the above link for too long, because it takes a while to look over this many fine cards, and in just a few hours they will all be going, going, GONE!

Also, here, at http://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/2016may/parti/, is a link to a preview gallery of ALL of the incredible collection of 307 linenbacked one-sheets (which runs from April 24th to May 1st), including the lot numbers, so you can see the exact order in which they will be auctioned!

Note that not only do we provide you with the exact condition grade that will be on the auction, but you can also click on any image and see the "super-sized" version, so that you can really know the exact condition of each item long in advance of the auction, so you can better prepare your bidding strategy.

We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 2,500 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.
We have auctioned more movie paper for more money (in real sales) than any auction in the world.

These are Hong Kong cards that were glued to boards and used in Switzerland.

They only had 2 lobby styles for Bruce Lee in H.K :

-Eng and Chinese lettering

-English only lettering

Only Swiss used the crown logo that the ones you sold had.

And here's what looks like a partial set of 6 cards (same size, blue border, attached to board, grommet holes and the small crown logo in the lower right corner) yet these were called Swiss cards, when sold back in Sept of 2012:

http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/5164979.html

The 6 cards look identical to those 6 in the group of 14 cards that was said to be a COO Hong Kong set, sold on in March of this year:

http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/13819410.html

Bruce, what's the difference between these 2 sets (other than the quantity)?      binoc.gif

And, Bruce, if both sets are the same style cards, and both, in fact, turn out to be Swiss, then this question could also be thought about:

Had the 2016 LC set been advertised and described as the 2012 set had been (Swiss and not COO Hong Kong cards), would that have affected the bidding as well as the final price achieved? hmmm.gif

Again, yes, there were more cards offered in the 2016 lot, but I'm speaking of those persons that bid because of the cards' presented/advertised origin.

And would a Hong Kong (COO) set be more rare or valuable than a Swiss set for this film?

I believe a 1st issue H.K Enter Dragon card (white bottom border fea Concorde yin yang logo) was offered for 400$ , sadly it was in crummy shape so I easily passed.....I'd love to own one (or a set) obviously....but not for 100s per card :P

3rd issue :
