FYI: If any of you guys check my website regularly (I get between 70-100 visitors a day, so I assume some do), it will be down for 3 weeks.

Our server broke.

Well, I guess it's up right now, but it was down an hour ago and the wife expects it to go down again for good.

Well, my website is still down, and since my wife is the only one who can fix it, it might be down for some time.

Et Dieu... créa la femme (...And God Created Woman) (1956 Italian 2 Foglio)

Hamlet (1948 Italian 1 Foglio) (art by Anselmo Ballester)

La Donna Più Bella del Mondo (Beautiful and Dangerous) (1955 Italian 2 Foglio)

The Brides of Dracula
(1960 French 47x63in) (art by Joseph Koutachy)

The Wrong Man (1956 French 47x63in) (art by Jean Mascii)

Flamingo Road
(1949 French 47x63in) (art by Pierre Pigeot)

The Harder They Fall (1956 French 47x63in) (art by Jean Mascii)

SORRY for poor pic, but I had this Brides as above, but also this version

Notice, despite the obvious logo etc.

But I was surprised that the artwork was different also.

Easiest to notice is the woman on his rights face. But theres lots of differences. Before I handled them both together I assumed they used the same art.

Thanks all.  My favorite of this first batch is Hamlet, but I think it has to be seen in person to judge.  Ballester is just something else.  I would love to start a collection, but they're just so damn expensive.  Maybe one at a time.

Thanks for the kind words.

Hey stranger!!!  I didn't know you were back.  What did it take me... 6, 7 attempts to lure you?  Glad to have you with us.  For those of you who don't know him, Anthony was my guide when I first started collecting.  He taught me a lot.

And no, not 900,020 posters.  Just 7,000 +.  But I'm working at it.

See what you've done?  11 or so years ago when I started collecting, I only had 100 posters, most of them from the 90s.  7,000 posters later, I'm still around, and even got together with my partner in crime to create this little forum.  Yes, you've truly created a monster.
