Where in the name of all that is holy did you find that?

I have never seen that one either?  '60's??

Looks to be in top condition too?

I see a printing omission on this - must make it an even more rare variant printing!!

 :D

Nice find though Matt - you've got the magic treasure shovel for sure

Maybe he's joking about NSNA!

As for the date, it is likely early 70s as DAF is featured.  Agreed on all accounts though, it's definitely a rare one :)

Thanks Paul, I figured as much. Frankly I'm just stoked that it has all the Connery's on one poster!  Pretty unique!

Well, they picked up on the Thunderball issue.  Seem it was offered to them with the 'Restored by Studio C' bit, but without the rest of the story until they went back and had a chat.  Apparently the text is not up to snuff.

Any guesses as to how much this might go for?  The story will be made known to all bidding, of whom I will not be one.  Just can't imagine what the attraction of this poster might be.

Went for £1100 hammer price.  ...Which was about £500 more than I thought it would attain.

A good copy in unrestored form is about £2k, wouldn't you say?

This then went for £1300 with the BP.  Unbelievable.

That sounds like a fair estimate -- more or less depending on the venue.

So that means that every one of that French poster run was printed with the same typo.

Why then, would a typo = gold mine? Every copy has this flaw.

Again, just curious.  ;)

Moving swiftly on from the latest in blurry, sepia, creepy vids, ebay.co.uk recently had listed some Marler Haley Spy posters.

The quad plus three of the four DCs.  The person's listing was as follows.

"Rare original James Bond roger moore poster don't no much about it from house clearance the poster his not mint and as got 2 rips see photos ,have a look at my other posters thanks The poster has marks plus rips and his not mint condition look at photo before biding thanks"

Further to enquiring, the listing was removed today due to, 'My son put them all the bonfire, and I have been sick all day.'

Hmmm.  Judging from the prose, it is probably not a bad thing they were removed as you just know the posters would have been packed in the flimsiest excuse for a cardboard toilet roll tube, and what would have arrived would have had no further purpose than perhaps toilet paper itself.
