Not that I know of Harry, as far as I've always known the first release Quad posters for YOLT are all 31"x41" otherwise they have been cut down/trimmed.  Yes Ben, these are the exact measurements..

Maybe Adam will confirm..

The 80's Festival run was a 'restrike' run.  The photo element being correct.  The Goldfinger exception alo being correct.  In terms of the venerable term, 'original', for my part I take them as original, but with their own history and respective lesser value.  These are not knock offs, or reprints, or licenced commercial posters.  They were intended for the cinema.

So they are still litho printing process, but from photo source.  How is their sharpness compared to the 60's originals?

Fine.

The only 1 Sheet with a problem is the YOLT one where the original had damage on the left side of its length.  This was then reproduced.  This is explained I believe in earlier pages of this very thread.  There are also comparison images.

Which License to Kill US 1sheet was more prevalent, the red one or blue one?

I'm making a set of custom Bond Blu-ray covers using all original poster art and cant decide which one to use for this title..

Scratch that.  I just figured out the blue one was "international", the red "US".

Well I got my feet wet and my first "real" poster is on its way:  a folded Octopussy 1-sheet.  Certainly not my favorite Bond but I had to start somewhere (and starting with an original Thunderball Quad was out of the question  ;D ).

I paid $20 for it, which is probably $10 more than I should have given the condition of the corners, but I'm guessing every novice has made a mistake or two.

Here is the photo from the auction.  Hope it doesn't get mangled in transit.

Couple more questions for the connoiseurs:

As of which Bond will we find rolled as well as folded US 1sheets?

As of which Bond is there no union logo, mouse-type, and/or NSS numbers at the bottom?

Despite the duo-tone (which I think has a charm of its own), I think FRWL has the best LC set in terms of the stills chosen.

Fellas who own a Dr No UK quad, please can you tell me if they all measure exactly 30x40 inches?

Was there any history of varied dimensions to the tune of a 1/4 inch, so making 29.75 x 39.75 inches?

Cheers.
